Apartment Butterfly - One Bedroom Apartment with Sea View

I had a mixed experience at this apartment. The view is lovely, the bed is comfortable, the location is convenient to both the old town and the port, and the woman who owns it is super friendly and accommodating. However, the shower was so tiny and miserable. I'm a reasonably height/weight proportionate adult that is fairly flexible and I really struggled to shave my legs in such a cramped space. Also, sewage smells waft up through the bathroom floor drain. I put a box on top of it to block the smell which worked well but then there was a box sitting in the middle of the bathroom floor. The kitchen was very poorly provisioned. I went to the market and bought vegetables and fish only to discover there was no sharp knife, the cutting board was sandwich sized, and there weren't things like a colander for draining pasta or washing vegetables, no kitchen scissors, etc. The owner brought me her cutting board and skillet but there was so little to work with that I gave up on cooking and ended up spending more money than planned on going out for food. The location is great in the sense that it's a reasonable walk to both the old town and the newer port, but the apartment is over a busy road that is quite loud. However, the view is stunning. Overall, the place was fine and good value if you can handle a tiny shower.
