About this apartment rental
Enjoy the natural beauty of the Battenkill River in our private, charming, guest apartment located on the outskirts of Greenwich, New York just 20 miles from Saratoga Race Course and a lovely scenic drive to Lake George and Vermont.
Our cozy space includes 1 private bedroom with a queen size bed (linens included), a couch that can sleep an additional 2, TV, dining space and a complete kitchen.
Lounge on the spacious deck, fish, take a dip in the river and enjoy comfort of our cozy space!
Kitchen Includes:
*Small 4 burner oven and microwave
*Small Fridge
*Dishwasher (and detergent)
*Coffee Maker and Toaster
*Pots, Pans, Plates, Bowls and silverware... your basics :)!
*Coffee, Tea, Sugar, salt and pepper (and maybe a sweet treat)
*Dish towels, Dish Soap and basic cleaning supplies
Bedroom Includes:
*Queen Size bed with linens
*Dual reading lamps with usb ports
*Closet space
Living Space Includes:
*Couch that folds out to a full size sleeper
*TV with basic cable and access to your netflix, hulu, etc (Roku)
*Dining Space
*Board Games

*Towels, hand towels and wash clothes

In addition to the private living space, guests will have access to a spacious private deck surrounded by trees and are invited to enjoy the river and the riverside fire pit.
My wife and I live on the property but are happy to give you the privacy that you desire. We would be glad to answer questions that you have. We want you to enjoy your stay! Please also note that the river access is a shared space.
Greenwich is a lovely rural town in Washington County with plenty of beautiful country scenery for guests to enjoy. From farmlands, to rivers to the quaint village area, Greenwich has plenty to offer! We will leave our guests a binder full of information about some of our favorite places in the area including local restaurants and breweries!
In addition to being on the Battenkill River, we are a half mile walk from Reggie's Veggies where you may find fresh, locally grown vegetables, milk, eggs, cheese and maybe a donut or two on Sundays!
Many special events take place throughout the year in our area including: The Washington County Fair, The Washington County Cheese Tour, The Maple Tour, The Fiber Tour, The Tour of the Battenkill Bike Race and many more!
We are located in a very rural area so a car is definitely a must for getting around.
If you plan on enjoying the Battenkill River, please bring shoes to wear in the water. We want your feet to feel comfortable! :) IMPORTANT although very rare we cannot offer refunds if the fire pit area and river are not accessible due to flooding or fast moving waters. Path to the river is NOT plowed during winter.

Here we are again. This was our third stay here, again for a nearby event. I've covered just about everything in previous reviews; Convenient yet quiet location, charming and responsive host, beautifully designed space. I've run out of superlatives for this property, but I should mention that it's absolutely adorable. Also, Marc advised us that the bed has a new mattress, so he would probably appreciate me saying that it's an excellent one.

Great place! Perfect location and absolutely wonderful place for a 2 person getaway -- though it would be great for a family with a young one. Absolutely 5 Stars! Marc is a wonderful host....and the homemade brownies are delicious.

We spent 3 nights here as part of a road trip to Montreal. The place was an apartment above a garage. Check in was very easy. The place was very clean and very comfortable. The living room area had comfortable seating and a nice tv, which was set up to make streaming easy. The kitchen was complete, which would be fine for even longer stays. The bathroom was perfect for 2 people and had plenty of towels and toiletries.The bedroom was comfy with nice linens and pillows. Climate control was good, with units in the living room and bedroom.We ate a few meals on the lovely deck and even barbecued once.It’s a short walk to get to a nice private area by the river, complete with chairs and a fire pit.We enjoyed Greenwich as well as nearby Saratoga Springs.We would definitely choose this place again when returning to the area.

Nice to have all the amenities since we had a fairly long stay. Marc was very accommodating especially after a power outage from a storm. Thanks for being so gracious.
