There's a rooftop terrace at the top of this Plaza Carlota flat that makes people never want to leave. Ocean views stretch to the horizon, a couch swing sways in the breeze, and at sunset the sky turns every shade of orange and pink. This is the heart of the home, and it's yours for the week.

It’s bright, airy lighting and fresh ocean breeze can comfortably seat up to eight. Enjoy views of the ocean, mountains, and local neighborhood on an oversized couch swing.
Bedrooms on either side of the home each have their own little outdoor space (a juliette balcony) and ensuite bathrooms.
At sunset, the covered terrace becomes an ideal venue to host dinner parties. Using the full kitchen just below, a private chef can be arranged to prepare dinner for the evening, letting you fully enjoy the glowing pink, orange sky with your guests.

This is an amazing property and the balcony may be one of the best in Las Catalinas. Exceptionally clean and well maintained each day by housekeeping staff. All of the amenities you need.
One annoying part of our trip was we were not aware there would be construction just above our pool at the Beach Club. A small irritant to an otherwise great stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this site. The bedrooms were spacious, nice island and living area. My favorite was the rooftop where we loved having our morning coffee. I spent the morning on the swing viewing the ocean and the evenings loving the ocean sounds. The location is near the beach and the local store. I loved every minute of this place. One suggestion...plan on staying longer, you will love it!

A great location in the heart of Las Catalinas! A top floor unit with incredible views, especially at sunset but quite a number of stairs(we were only challenged as we had my 84 yr old parents but they managed!). Inside was quite comfortable and each room had its own fan and AC unit.
Beds were firm and pillows were fluffy! Would love to have had a few side tables and chairs on the master patio as well as the amazing skydeck but the sofa swing was a wonderful place to start the day with coffee! Very well situated next to the Copper and Stone grocery store(if you can stock up before you arrive that would be best!). Unit didn't have any basics such as salt/pepper/oil.
The beach was very close so we heard the waves crashing at night. Very easy swimming with gradual walk into water(all sand!). Restaurants weren't cheap but given location we understand why! Staff was all very friendly and eager to help. LC is a magical place that is unlike anything else we saw in CR. We knew going in that it was more like a European village and NOT typical Costa Rican living. It was mostly quiet though and neighbors were generally very respectful. Demographic seemed to be families w young kids, young couples or middle aged adults. Due to the cobblestones and abundant stairs I might not recommend the condos for elders or anyone w disabilities. My parents stayed a couple of nights at the Hotel Santarena and they were much happier there. Husband and I loved the condo though!
