About this cottage rental
Cute, fully updated 1931 cottage with a heated pool in Lake Worth Beach. This cottage is part of a small compound of two rentals and the owner's cottage on an oversized city lot with a heated pool. The Casita sleeps 2 and has a queen-sized bed. It shares the pool and multiple deck, outdoor dining and seating spaces with the neighboring vacation rental.
Cozy 1 bedroom / 1 bath Spanish style cottage with a shared pool, large deck and outdoor space. This cottage is at the rear of the main house and has its own private entrance and 500 square foot deck. Finished to a high standard, the cottage is just 1 block to Lucerne Ave and two blocks to the main downtown district, Publix supermarket and Starbucks. You are less than a mile to the Lake Worth public beach.
The cottage shares the pool area with Joel's Place (also on HomeAway). The owner of both properties lives in the cottage next door. All are on a fenced on a large lot. There is ample free parking on the street. There are separate lounge and dining areas, separate gas BBQ grilles for each house and free separate laundry facilities for each house. The pool is shared, but everyone has their own private space.
The inside and outdoor areas were completely remodeled in January 2024. The cottage has a full kitchen with gas stove, full-sized refrigerator and microwave. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed. There is a large flat screen smart TV with WiFi and a Comcast cable package. We keep beach umbrellas, beach towels and beach chairs for you to use as well.

The place was as advertised. All of the reviews about Roger were on the spot. I am trans and Roger made me feel welcome and was even willing to reschedule me to a different date where I would have the privacy and entire place to myself. I will be back many more times.

Had a wonderful stay at Casita Azul. House was just perfect for me and my wife when we visited Lake Worth.We had a terrific welcome basket from the host when we arrived and the host reached out to us the following morning and gave us some Starfruit for our breakfast! Communication was wonderful The host is typically next door and is there for for as much or as little communication as you would like.This property is little over a mile from the beach and an easy walk to downtown for groceries and dining. The beach is a 2 bus fare if you don't feel like making the walk back. There is a wonderful Guatemalan bakery about 250 steps the property. Be sure to check it out.House itself has plenty of room for two but is not a place to try and squeeze in a third adult. My sister and her husband over to visit a couple of times and while there was plenty of room for dining and lounging around, there was only room for one to comfortably to cook in the kitchen. Our answer was to use the grill! There are two heated pools to choose from in the back of the property. These are shared pools between the houses but there was plenty of privacy. We never saw anyone. The door to the property is a little hidden so take care to follow the directions when you check in. Great property. I hope to rent it again!

Fit our needs perfectly. Roger made us feel so welcome. Our casita was very clean and equipped with all we needed, even a few extra surprises such as a bottle of wine, fresh fruits and popcorn! The outside area is like an oasis, just heavenly. Florida weather in the middle of January was cool but we made use of the heated pool. Thank you and we hope to be back!
