About this bed and breakfast

The Little River Casino is only 10 miles away. There are many restaurants and exciting sites nearby.
This is a full home which is connected to the main house but completely private, a private driveway and a private entrance. The deck has a patio table with 4 chairs. There is a full kitchen with a glass top cook stove, a refrigerator, and dishwasher. There is also a washer and dryer. This unit has an open floor plan with a dining area and a living room area that has a queen size sofa bed. There are 2 bedrooms. One with a queen size bed and the other with 2 twin beds. There is also a comfortable sofa bed. There is a TV and a fireplace. A bistro table with two chairs are situated so you can look out and see the woods and the lake. The bathroom has a glass shower door with beautiful tile. A Keurig is also available so bring your favorite K-cups, or use a regular coffee maker. There is also a wall mounted flat screen TV. WiFi is available. Since all the amenities are here, we are asking for a minimum 4 night stay. Bring the family and /or friends and enjoy Lake Michigan. Make the memories of a lifetime.

Our stay was very nice. The cottage was well appointed. We enjoyed the fire pit. Very isolated and private. Location was great. Communication with the owner could have been better; I called several times and never received a call back, but then later received a text.

Our family greatly enjoyed our time here! What a beautiful place to enjoy Lake Michigan. We decided to end our summer at the beach and this spot was just what we needed. We traveled with 3 young kids, 6, 4, and 2, and there was enough space for all of us (baby was in a pack n play). Initially, I was a little worried about the erosion and sea wall but our children navigated it just fine and we felt very safe on the beach and swimming. There was a lot of flat areas on the beach to play on.
It was also a great launching point! We have enjoyed Northern Michigan many times and chose to explore Manistee, Frankfort, the Platte River area, and Baldy trail while we were there. It was great to take a small adventure during the morning and come back to relaxing on the beach for the afternoon. Our kids LOVED walking down the beach. It is very private and feels like you have the whole space to yourself. We found lots of great stones, beach glass, and my kids could have played for hours in the lake. It was the best way to end our summer.
