Our one night stay in the Stable Suite was absolutely wonderful, however, we should have stayed longer. Chris & Jenna are the perfect hosts. So much thought and love went into the Cartier Mansion and their attention to detail is impeccable. Breakfast did not disappoint. I look forward to staying with them again. If you love exceptional hospitality you must stay at the Cartier Mansion. And Carson the butler is too cute!

My stay at the Cartier Mansion in Ludington, Michigan, was a delightful blend of historic charm and modern comfort. This beautiful neoclassical mansion, dating back to the early 1900s, is a true gem in the heart of Ludington. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, with luxurious bedding and thoughtful amenities that made our stay truly relaxing. Jenna and Chris Simpler, the innkeepers, were exceptional hosts, displaying warm hospitality and catering to our every need with genuine care and attention to detail. Their passion for preserving the mansion’s rich history added a special touch to the experience.
The breakfasts were a highlight, featuring creative, locally sourced dishes that were both interesting and delicious. However, for lighter eaters like myself, it would be great if they offered a continental breakfast option alongside the multi-course gourmet spread. Overall, the Cartier Mansion is a must-visit for anyone seeking a unique, history-filled getaway with outstanding hospitality. I highly recommend it and look forward to staying there again.

We had an amazing stay for a week while in Ludington visiting family. The carriage room was so cool and comfy. The bed was perfect and the breakfasts were so tasty and different from the normal things you get at most BnB’s. Easy short walk into town to the lake/beach and all the shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again when in town.
