Conveniently located just 3 miles to the town of Alma that offers friendly restaurants and an escape from the crowds. This A-frame home boasts an expansive layout with plenty of private living area and sleeping space to provide peace and comfort for multiple families. Cook meals in the gourmet kitchen with brand new stainless appliances, gas oven range, new counter tops, large formal dining table and kitchen island. Two-story wood burning fireplace provides ambiance and warmth. Second living room is perfect for kids to watch a show or do a puzzle. Huge master bedroom has king size bed, vaulted ceilings, attached bath and sliding doors that provide a view of these two breath-taking beautiful mountains. Relax amid the dense growth of pines and let your mind wander as you unwind and relax. Though you are only 12 miles from the town of Breck you are hidden in a peaceful forest and can see no neighbors nor hear any traffic. Situated at nearly 11,000 feet where air is crisp, nights are starry and morning views are spectacular. Enjoy time together with jaw-dropping views off the main living area with huge picture windows and French doors that frame two of Colorado's most impressive mountains.

Our family so enjoyed this beautiful mountain home snuggled into private forest land with spectacular mountain views over the week of Thanksgiving. Just like the pictures, mountain cozy decor, spacious bedrooms, loft, modern bathrooms and kitchen. The hot tub on deck can’t be beat with the mountain views and dark nights for star gazing. We enjoyed, walks, movies, cards, even some puzzling. The owner/host was so nice and helpful. Definitely want to return! Great mountain location between Breckenridge and Alma. Thank you for a memorable holiday!

Our stay at Cathy’s A-frame was wonderful. The property had everything we needed for a small family celebration and is near some of our favorite Colorado activities. We could not get enough of that mountain view so we’ll definitely be back.

Cathy is an excellent communicator and made sure everything was taken care of during our stay. The house has obviously been recently remodeled and is fantastic for a family gathering. The views we're by far the best part, but also the reservoir that is just down the road is amazing. Lots of hiking, waterfalls, fishing, off-roading (if thats your thing) and just beauty everywhere. It's also perfectly positioned between Alma and Breck so take your pick depending on what you need. We highly recommend this property and would love to come back in the winter season.
