A great place to bring together family. Kids loves the bunk beds! Wonderful views out over the sea, great proximity to the coast path. Inside a well laid out property, stylish and airy. There is a premium cleaning fee but the house is very well run and Tara was super responsive to the couple of hiccups we had whilst there. A very special place, we’d love to return!

We had an amazing time at Greenshutters - the weather was perfect as was the property. We loved the stylish decor, amazing views and appreciated the eco credentials. The area was fantastic too and we'd definitely like to go back one day.

Three generations shared this lovely home for a week. Six minutes to the beach, downhill, ten minutes back! Great sand, perfect for building! Coastal walks east and west suitable for all over 5, with cafes 3 miles in either direction! The house had truly wonderful views, and a great balcony for drinks and barbecues. It was well equipped, and very comfortable. As advertised, there was no internet, but a signal could be obtained at the top of the drive for emergencies! Would be perfect for up to 8 guests ... highly recommended.

My sat nav directed me straight to the house, I arrived in the dark on a cool March evening, to a roaring log burning stove in the clean, contemporary open plan living room. As I sat and relaxed on the sumptuous leather sofa, all I noticed was the silence, the house which is of an eco build has a wonderful quiet. The underfloor heating in the bathrooms is a joy and the showers are good and powerful. I woke the next morning having had a wonderful sleep to a view that is truly stunning. Would I recommend this house to friends and relatives - I already have and I am slightly regretting it as I would like it to remain a secret.

Just spent a really wonderful weekend in this beautiful house. The house provides an idyllic retreat with spectacular views of the Pembrokeshire coast. On arrival the exterior of the house appeared modest but as soon as we stepped through the door and into the light filled living area we realised what a perfect place this is. The beautiful oak floors and white walls create a sense of calmness and serenity. The house is beautifully and comfortably furnished in a style that perfectly compliments the amazing panoramic views. Spacious accommodation, crisp white linen, large leather sofa and a wood burning stove all added to the comfort of our stay. On Saturday we walked west from the house along the coastal trail to Barafundle - about 7 km - truly one of the most amazing walks I have ever done! On the way back we stopped off at the Boathouse Tea Room at Stackpole Quay for a bowl of homemade soup. On Sunday we explored the magical hidden caves and rock pools on the beach that lies directly below the house before making our way back through the dunes and wooded daffodil filled copses that separate the village from the sea. The house enjoys the benefit of a fully equipped kitchen with the added bonus of a dishwasher but on Friday night we decided to visit nearby Stackpole Inn for supper. The food was brilliant: great, homemade, local produce and very welcoming. We returned to Green Shutters wrapped ourselves up in blankets and sat out on the decked balcony area to watch the stars... The one downside to the house is that you won't want to leave. Only been home for 24 hours but already planning a return visit. Would highly recommend a stay at Green Shutters to everyone!

Lovely Eco house nestled in the cliffs above Freshwater East. Excellent design and well equipped. Bed very comfortable! 1st time to Pembrokeshire. Was blown away by the natural beauty of the area. Would love to stay again.

I stayed here with my multi generational family and I can honestly say we all had such a memorable holiday. The views of the house made us feel absolutely fine about kicking back and relaxing all day - and the ridiculously comfortable sofa helped with this too! You can get down to the beach from the house but it is extremely steep if you want to walk but the drive isn't too long at all. Definitely a good spot to stay if you're into walking too. We all fell in love with the eco side of the house too, it's amazing what a wood burner can do! Do note though, because there is no heating and heat rises that the downstairs can feel a lot cooler than upstairs and particularity the bedrooms at night, we had the underfloor heating on in the bathroom down stairs turned right up to get some heat in the rooms - which did work! The owner was also very responsive when we had an issue in one of the bathrooms and had it rectified within 48 hours, however I must say, as great as it was being cut off from the world for a while with no internet or signal, it did prove tricky when we needed to contact the owner - I think a phone for emergency's would be a good idea because there is absolutely no signal!

Having never been to this part of Wales before I was truly stunned by the scenery. The beaches are beautiful and the location of this house is superb to explore the wonderful Pembrokeshire coast. If you enjoy walking this place is great. We walked (perhaps a little further than the kids might have liked) along the coastal paths. The property has everything you'd need for your stay, with a beautiful wood burner, well equipped kitchen and its wonderful views across the bay. The kids didn't moan once about the lack of wifi and with us constantly on the computer / phone when we're at work, it made our few days away even more enjoyable.
