Cedars East Resort is a unique vacation getaway nestled within palms and mangrove trees. Enjoy the walk to the pool along cedar plank walking paths throughout the property. Canals and a bay side fishing dock enhance the tropical feeling of this beautiful setting.
With the townhouse setting there is a feeling of privacy and “elbow room” missing at other tightly packed facilities. There is a spacious one-car enclosed garage and plenty of guest parking. This unit is steps away from the mini bay beach where you can launch a kaiak, lounge on a raft, or wade in the crystal clear bay water. Nearby are nature paths and a 32 acre nature preserve with walking trails.
Fresh accessories, new windows and fresh paint were added in late 2020, and furnished with the help of a professional designer. Newer queen sleeper sofa, love seat, and overstuffed chair in living area with 9 foot ceilings give a spacious, comfortable feel. Our accessories give it a warm, inviting atmosphere: HD TV with Netflux and YouTube TV in living area and bith befrooms. The large great room, dining room, and kitchen are on the main floor along with a half bath. Upstairs there is a large master bedroom with king-sized bed, private bath, and double vanities. The guest bedroom has twin beds with a full bath next door. Sofa in living room converts to a queen bed. A screened lanai with a small bay view is a great place for breakfast in the mornings. Come and enjoy a setting that is family-friendly as well as intimate. Full size washer and dryer near bedrooms. Brand new this season: Fluffy white towels in the master bath and thick coral towels in the second full bath. 4 oversized beach towels new too.
Area is perfect for cycling and you'll see many cyclists on the roads and walkways. A bike rental shop is nearby. 5 minute drive to multiple Longboat Key public gulf beach access points or 7 minutes to our favorite, Coquina Beach on Anna Marie Island with plenty of parking close to beach and a beautiful walking path for sunrise and sunset walks.

My family and I had a great stay at Elicia's condo. My young sons loved searching for shells and animals on the bayside beach at low tide. Elicia had great recommendations for restaurants and public beach access spots, and when I mentioned that I couldn't find one of the cleaning supplies, she ordered more for next day delivery. She was a great, responsive host. The beach wagon, umbrella, chairs and toys were perfect for our family to enjoy at the beach.

Perfect condo for family of four with two young adult kids. Condo was well stocked with everything you need. Screened in patio was shaded in the afternoon which is great after a day in the sun. Beach chairs are a great addition as well. Pool and fitness center can’t be beat. The owners are also very attentive and helpful! Highly recommend staying here!!

Absolutely all that we hoped for and more. I didn’t want to leave! This place will be our family go to for years to come. Elicia and Mike are superior hosts and communicators. If anything was not “to their expectation” or was rusty, broke or missing Elicia asked to let them know and it would be replaced. Nothing was wrong at all! It was clean, beautiful and exceeded expectation in every way. So many options for beaches, gorgeous pool, interesting wild life. We saw manatees two days in the gulf. I thank you for everything Elicia and Mike! Can’t wait to return.

This was an excellent place to stay! It was quiet, beautifully located, and consisted of wonderful amenities. The host was a great source of information and, in my opinion, provided far more than I expected! I would most definitely stay here again!
