About this apartment rental
Due to its important role in Porto's history, 'Rua das Flores' Street has more visitors during the day than local people. It's a place you cannot miss. Why not stay here for some days instead of just passing through?
This self-catering and quiet apartment, on the 1st floor of the Flowerstreet54 building, is carefully furnished and features hardwood floors. This well-sized and comfortable apartment is for two people. There is one bedroom with one queen-sized bed. The bathroom is clean and has a modern suite, and has a bathtub and shower. Clean bath towels, Linen, and tableware are all included and the kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave, stove, oven, fridge, toaster kettle, and all you need to prepare your own meals. We can supply a travel crib at an extra cost.
The Flowerstreet54 building was completely rebuilt in 2005 and had to keep the original architecture by the imposition of the Culture Department of Portugal to maintain it's beautiful Portuguese style. The apartment is 300 meters from Ribeira Square. Located just 4 minutes walk from the Metro station 'São Bento' and also São Bento Railway Station, thus arriving from Oporto airport or any other places in Porto city is easy. The location is convenient, fast and economical and from here you can easily take advantage of all other public and tourist transport.
The most central place in the historical area. In "Rua das Flores" Street, but quiet because it is facing the back with a view to Sé cathedral.
Next, to the apartments, there are supermarkets, grocery stores, coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, bars, museums, and taxi stops. Set in the heart of Porto's historic district, all-important monuments can be explored on foot. For example, Clerigos Tower, Lello Library, Bolsa Palace, Ferreira Borges Market, and Ribeira are all just 4 minutes away. You can also visit the wine cellars of Porto and the Cais de Gaia by simply walking across D. Luís Bridge and getting the chance to do a Cruise in the River. Nearby, you can rent bicycles, program a guided visit, and get the tram to the beach on a beautiful trip along the Douro River to the beautiful village of Pinhão.

We enjoyed city of Porto.
The location of property was great
The main issue was an uncomfortable bed which I notified the manager immediately and he checked it the next day and found a broken base under the mattress and he fixed it but it did not resolve the problem as the mattress was of poor quality and we continued with ongoing back pain due to uncomfortable sleep. I notified the manager again and he is planning to change it now after we have left. This was not a solution for us unfortunately but the city of Porto and its people are very nice.

This is a perfect location for a stay in Porto. We were very comfortable in the space and decided that 4 nights is not long enough. Paula met us at the apartment and everything was explained plus any instructions are nicely typed out. We did a city walking tour with Guru Walking Tours and would highly recommend the guide Andre. Our hosts were very responsive though we did not need anything from them. The hosts have all kinds of Porto information on their web page. Kitchen was well equipped but why cook when you have such good food eating out! Crossed over the river for port tasting which also did not disappoint. Amazing how small this city is. We walked everywhere. Great, great location! We would definitely stay again!

Located in best position for touring. Apartment very sparse.no tv or washing. A couple of things needed fixing. Kitchen lighting not good. Bed very comfortable.
Flat just adequate. Would look for something better next time.
