@paramountbay101A is a stunning 3400 square foot mezzanine penthouse with a private heated infinity pool overlooking the ocean. This four-bedroom, five-bed and 3.5 bath modern luxury condo was designed and built specifically for the chief architect of the Paramount Bay development and boasts the largest private pool in the entire complex (known as the “developer’s suite”). Located in the Amapas neighborhood of Puerto Vallarta - right beside the famous Zona Romantica which is known for its shops, galleries, restaurants, bars and many other local attractions - the unit is one block from the famous Los Muertos Beach but sits 12 stories above the ground with walkout access to both the private heated infinity pool and heated common pool.
Recently renovated, the condo has Italian marble throughout and an imported European-designed kitchen, equipped with all stainless-steel appliances, including a six-burner gas range/stove. With all-new modern furniture and built-in cabinetry throughout, the condo features sliding glass wall panels between the private pool and main living space which can be fully opened to create an open-flowing indoor/outdoor living space!
With king beds in both the master and second bedrooms, the third bedroom with two queen beds, and a single queen bed in the fourth bedroom, this unit can host up to eight guests and is also pet friendly. Each bedroom has its own TV/entertainment and three of the four bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms - the master ensuite offering two large vanities and a standalone egg-shell soaker tub.
Common-area features include: lush garden grounds throughout the complex providing a resort style atmosphere, a common 300 ft heated infinity pool with swim-up bar overlooking the city of Vallarta and ocean, 24/7 security and a state of the art Gym overlooking the ocean
While you will have full access to the entire complex, for security purposes each guest must provide their full name and date of birth two weeks before arrival to be placed on the 24 hour security list – otherwise entry will not be permitted.

Seven of us came together to celebrate a milestone birthday and the place worked out exactly how I was hoping. Everyone congregated in the living spaces and pool (mostly) to enjoy the incredible views. Communication from the owner and property contact were great and timely. Security was friendly and recognized us as we came and went. Be ready to walk or get taxis/ubers - we did both. And if we walked up the hill, having that pool to cool off was the best thing. The community pool is right off the patio and was magnificent as well. Highly recommend.

Fantastic house with breathtaking views. We spent time in both the private and community pools both of which were great. A short downhill walk to the beach and very friendly security and staff. Well-maintained premises. We had a great time.

Can't say enough about this wonderful property. Incredible west-facing view of the ocean. The private pool offers plentiful sunlight in the afternoons (far more than the shared condo pool to the north was getting at this time of year). Rooms were very clean, and we had no issues with room heating/cooling for the 3 main bedrooms (although we rarely used the A/C). No issues with hot water from the showers, and the unit has a filtered drinking water dispenser (the property manager very quickly had full jugs delivered to replace on the last few days of our trip when it ran out). Wifi/Internet was fast. Communications with the owner were excellent, and the property manager was very quick to respond to each of our (almost daily) messages, even on a holiday New Years Day. The kitchen was well-stocked with both glass and plastic (for the pool) glasses, and appeared to have everything you would need for cooking (which we didn't do during our trip as there as so many great restaurants in PV a short 10mins walk away). Heating of the pool does require advance arrangement with the owner/property-manager but despite a few hiccups (out of the owner's control ie. the building had a short period where the gas needed to be turned off) we were able to get the heat turned back on within minutes each time. The unit has a great Sonos speaker system setup for both the pool area and living room. It worked well for the most part except that the music would cut out occasionally over wifi (a general issue with Sonos) - we discovered on our last day (too late to try) that the main Sonos systems are in a cupboard in the kitchen and so if you bring a 3.5mm stereo audio cable with you, I suspect you would be able to connect your audio device / phone directly.
The gym in the condo building (convenient located a floor below this unit) is one of the best and most comprehensive gyms I have ever seen in a condo or resort for both cardio and strength.
One major plus we found with this condo was that the 24hr security staff were reasonable in allowing us to have a few registered close friends/guests over during the day-time to visit and enjoy the stunning sunset+pool with us.
The location of the property up a hill may be a bit of a challenge for the mobility-challenged, but we did not find the 10min walk to town an issue and, on the rare occasion that we UBER'd it was an easy $5-7USD from the middle of town.
We would book this stunning property again in a heartbeat!

I’ll start this review off saying the condo is beautiful, and looks identical to the pictures. Our main concern was the strict rules imposed. We were asked to turn our music down multiple times during the day (quiet hours are not until 11pm). We were routinely counted to ensure only 8 people were staying in the unit when we had visitors come. It is ridiculously hot in the unit. There is no AC in the kitchen/living room. We were asked to keep the AC in the rooms at 73 degrees which is far too hot for Mexico. They left hardly any towels/sheets so we had to laundry numerous times. Overall I would give our stay a 3/5 stars. Joel was very responsive and nice. The management company is a different story. If you are younger and looking to stay here I would go elsewhere
