About this cottage rental
This beautiful bourgeois house in white Caen stone is located in the market town of a small quiet village surrounded by its church, castle and old mill, between the Pays d'Auge and the Suisse Normande. The house has kept its 'soul' of a family home.
Large independent 18th century house. Ground floor: Living room with kitchen area, lounge, wc. Upstairs: 3 bedrooms (3 double beds 140 cm, 2 single beds, cot), shower room, wc. 2nd floor: 1 family room (1 double bed, 2 single beds) with open bathroom. Central heating not included. Enclosed garden of around 2000 m², table tennis, games.
Land of breeding, cradle of famous breeds, the Argentan Country is the stronghold of the horse of which the Haras du Pin, called "Versailles of the horse", is the most famous witness.
Our countryside is full of many private stud farms around which you can admire horses galloping freely. If you are passionate about this majestic animal, the Pays d'Argentan is ideal for indulging in your pleasures: horse riding, hiking, shopping ...
Body of water
Amateur or professional fishermen, go to the lake! You can fish roach, tench, bream, carp, trout, carp, sometimes weighing up to 14 kg!
(Free fishing for children under 12 with a rod without reel.
You can also take a long walk around the lake, play a game of pétanque. You can also take a break in the shade of the arbor while watching the many ducks in the pond. Children will also find their happiness with the play area at their disposal.
IMPORTANT: The prices indicated per week are for the rental of gite. The price of renting the entire cottage in high season is 540 € per week and 450 in mid season for 10 people.
In bed and breakfast it is price linen and breakfast, cleaning and central heating included in the price of 75 per night. For rental of the entire cottage there is rental sheets of € 10 per bed and € 5 towels. Cleaning fee 80 euros for the cottage + 20 € if there is an animal.
Rental price for animals: 50 € for the week.
You can also discover the Lace Garden, located at the front of the Maison des Dentelles. This tribute to the art of lace-making is in perfect continuity with the Parc du Plan d'eau. Worked in the manner of a 'vegetable poem', on the basis of a symmetrical construction, it will not fail to surprise you.
