About this villa rental
How to stay in our lovely Stone Villa Olga right by the magic landscape, sea and nature of Crete. Right in Astratigos village, close to the characteristic and beautiful beach of Afrata, relax, nice beaches, comfort, nature, sea view and shared pool (the villa is independent but share the pool with other 3 villas of the complex, with the outside of the property. Just 5 minutes drive from the property where you can find delicious traditional tavern and restaurants and beach bars. Astratigos is a strategic and comfortable position to reach from the most famous and beautiful beaches of Crete like Balos, Falasarna and Elafonissi through the highway. The airport of Chania is about 45 km from the property and the city of Chania with its amazing old port is about 33 km
The villa is spacious, sunny, comfortable, full-hearted and really the best choice families, group of couples, young people and very suitable for children. You'll have the entire space of about 140 m2 all to yourself. The villa is a full house with a kitchen, fridge, oven and microwave. Beside the comfortable living room with a comfortable sofa bed, satellite TV, and a fully equipped room. There are 3 single bedrooms, one with double bed and the other two bedrooms have 3 single beds. All three bedrooms are fully air conditioned. Also 2 full bathrooms + a washing machine are present in the property so you can guarantee all necessary comfort for big groups.
A cot is also available if needed. For the winter months, the rooms are centrally heated. Free WiFi and towels are provided.

Villa Olga was a very nice experience and a good place to be. From the start onwards, we felt very welcome. The owner Dina prepared some food and cretan specialties, which was very kind and good for a late arrival. The villa is very remote from the next city, so it's very private and quiet there. One of us accidentally broke the key of the bathroom in the lock, as it was old and brittle, which is why he was locked in there for around 3 hours. Dina was ready to come by at 2am in the week to support us. Unfortunately there were no tools, to solve this without damaging the door, so that would be a good improvement for the next guests.

My friends and I had such a great time, the villa is lovely, we were welcomed with some local products on the table too. The owner is very lovely, the swimming pool with garden was fun and very relaxing, the rooms are very comfortable and the top ones have a terrace with view on the sea The village is very quite and the nearest beach and restaurants are just a 5 minute drive and they offer free sun beds . The food was delicious and the local people are very friendly! Excellent spot to visit Balos and Elafonisi beaches.. Makes me want to book it again!!

The house is in a lovely, quiet village on top of a hill with amazing sea views to Kolymbari from the roof top terrace. We arrived when the owner was at work but we had spoken beforehand and she had left the keys in the door for us. We had also been emailed clear directions beforehand on how to get there. There are a few properties which share the pool (just three) but Villa Olga is the biggest. There is plenty of room in the villa - there were only two of us and we were almost rattling around. It comfortably sleeps 5. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and cutlery etc, there are lots of nice outside areas, including the roof top terrace which is fab. There are a couple of nice tavernas in the next village along, Afrata, which is walkable but probably best to take a car rather than walking along the dark narrow roads at night. We only stayed for three nights and really enjoyed our stay. The views from the roof top terrace are the highlight and it is very remote and peaceful.

Villa Olga is a wonderful location to relax, there is only 2 restaurant and one minimarket around, is a perfect place to be far from crowd and commercial place. i really enjoyed and loved Villa Olga. Astratigos is che location mean " stars place " and is true , from our terrace in the night you can ' see a wonderful sky full of stars!!! i relly suggest to visit Villa olga!
