We had the most incredible week at the villa. The owner was so friendly and informative about the area and was on hand to sort any issues that we had during our stay. Not that we really had any! The village was an unexpected gem. Very peaceful location with two fantastic restaurants to go to, within a couple of minutes walk.
The icing on the cake was when they came and cleaned the villa half way through the week. Changed the sheets, everything. Such great service.
You need a car to stay in Asteri but we loved it as a location as was away from the tourist traps but with a car we could easily meant explore the island, go to the supermarket, drive to eateries outside the village etc.
Highly recommend this place. A fabulous holiday. Thank you!

Everything about this villa is delightful. It’s authentic with an exceptional outside space. Villa Asteri was ideal for an extended family.
Host, Argiris, was welcoming. Answered email / messages promptly before and after arrival. Pool was cleaned and checked regularly. Pool towels were provided. We were left to enjoy our stay but felt that of we needed help or support with anything we only had to ask.
Inside, the villa is well equipped with almost everything necessary for a self catered holiday. Only things we missed were a pair of scissors and smaller pans! (Plenty of big pans).
Villa was cleaned twice during our 2 week stay with beds and towels changed. (Bed linen was good quality).
Kitchen and showers are showing signs of wear but are perfectly serviceable.
The location is in a small village with 3 restaurants within walking distance. Greek night at the Poliou House on Thursday nights was great fun, booking recommended. For a change from Greek food the nearby Romeo and Juliet fusion food is also very good and reasonably priced.
Local supermarkets, bakeries and beaches are within 5 or 10 minute drives. Nearest Lidl is about 15 minutes away.
