About this house rental
This 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom townhome style beach cottage has everything you need to feel right at home during your getaway.
The cottage is decorated with artwork by local artists and the yard is landscaped with fruit trees.
The open-concept kitchen is equipped with stainless steel Whirlpool appliances and multiple small appliances. You can select your coffee maker from among Keurig, automatic drip coffeemaker with timer, Bialetti, and French press. If you prefer tea, a Cuisinart tea kettle is available with temperature selections.
Carry your morning coffee or tea out to one of the porches for a quiet moment.
The kitchen bar has seating for four and the oversized dining table has seating for six. The kitchen, living, and dining are spacious and open to the screened porch. A gas grill and grilling tools are provided.
Also on the main floor is the master bedroom suite (KING) with an ensuite bathroom, an oversized shower, a walk-in closet, and a linen closet. Hairdryers, vacuum, iron, and ironing board are provided. Finishing off the first floor is a full-size stackable washer and dryer with a downstairs powder room nearby. On the second level are two guest rooms (Queen) with ensuite baths and a wall of windows. One bathroom has a large shower and one bathroom has a tub/shower combination. Both bedrooms have access to the large upper balcony which overlooks green space with palm trees and large live oak trees.
This cottage is conveniently located just steps from the Phase IV beach access. Foldable beach chairs and beach towels are provided. Since this cottage is a personal residence, storage areas and garage are not available to guests.
NONSMOKING (Inside or Outside). The cottage is a smoke-free area. Rental guests are not allowed to have pets in the Cottage at any time. This doesn’t imply that the rental is a completely pet-free property.
In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island's million-dollar amenities, which include Clubhouse, zero-entry pool and fitness, beach deck, beach access and a community firepit.
2 Parking Spaces - - No trailers of any kind allowed. The garage is not accessible.

BEACH ACCESS AT THE COTTAGES
Overview: The Cottages beach is about 2,000 feet long, featuring a beach deck, dune area and seawall.
Access Points: There are three beach access points with the main access located near the pool and clubhouse, one access point in the mid-north area and another at the south end of the Cottages.
Tide Information: At high tide, water reaches the seawall, changing every six hours. Check a tide chart to plan your beach time. The sand area landside of the seawall is accessible at all times for recreaation.
Nearby Facilities: Oceanview Beach Park, about 2 miles south past the Holiday Inn, offers all-day ocean access. Explore all Jekyll Island beaches on their website.
Important Note: Storms may affect beach crossover access, therefore we cannot guarantee beach access at all times.

The condo was beautiful and very nice. The house was comfortable and had most all needed items. The kitchen could use a few more “newer” cookie sheets/bread pans. Other than that we enjoyed the board games on the rainy night. We were a little disappointed and felt misled with the beach access. When booking I read there is some beach access at low tide. However, there was only one day that it was accessible. The main reason I booked this place was so we didn’t have to use public beach and have to drive somewhere to get on the beach.

We loved our time on Jekyll Island. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood with super close access to the beach, pool and clubhouse. All are very nice. While beach access is convenient , there is not a beach view from the property. Restaurants and shopping are just a few miles away. The house was very clean and well appointed. There is a great deck off the upstairs bedrooms with plenty of room for 6 people. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower. The kitchen appliances are in good condition. The main living area is an adequate size with a large TV. Beach chairs are provided. One great part about our time there was that it was not crowded. We had no trouble getting into restaurants with no wait and the beach was not overcrowded. Would recommend .

We were very pleased with our cottage!! The location was wonderful!!! An end cottage and two blocks from the pool. It was very quiet and relaxing and very clean and decorated nicely to our taste. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family.quiet and relaxing

We love staying in this neighborhood but wouldn’t choose this unit again. When we checked in at 4:00 the house was over 80 degrees inside, it took all afternoon and most of the night before it got to a comfortable temperature. This was incredibly disappointing in the middle of the summer when the rental company was well aware people were checking in and did not make an effort to ensure we were comfortable upon arrival. Throughout our stay the HVAC system had trouble keeping up and we had to keep the blinds closed the entire trip to ensure the house stayed cool. The owners should considering upgrading their HVAC system. It may have been due to the heat but the kitchen had a fruit fly problem and there was a dead roach by the fridge. The couch cushions could use replacing and the beds were incredibly firm. The pool is nice and it is a quiet area.
