Marhaba boutique Madrasah 15th-16th century

Beautiful property, excellent location in the old city, comfortable bed and room, good shower, nice outdoor area for relaxing, cute cat.

The bathroom in the standard room has very little counter space.

I loved the courtyard of this hotel, converted from a 15th-century madrasa. Sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting dappled shadows across the grass; sitting under the shaded canopy, I felt cool and comfortable. The breakfast was the best we had anywhere in Uzbekistan — every pastry was fresh and delicious, with a perfect balance of meat, vegetables, sweet and savory. Best of all, there was an oven to heat things up, so for once we didn't have to eat cold food. Although the rooms have been completely renovated — with almost no trace of the original madrasa left except for the layout and framework — the cozy courtyard, the clean rooms, and this thoughtful breakfast still made it a place I'll remember fondly from this trip. Definitely worth a visit. The hotel has a great location — the Chor Minor, the Lyab-i Hauz square, and other sights are all within easy walking distance. The value for money is excellent too.

Excellent location, within walking distance of old town tourist sites. Very good breakfast. Wonderful quadrangle with seating.

The shower floods the bathroom floor!

Large bedroom. Very good location

Not very clean (dust and hairs). It smells awful. The breakfast was quite limited, with little variety. In general, we expected more.
