    I've said that I wouldn't recommend the hotel, but that's not strictly true. It's nice, a little out of the old city but walkable or ten minutes in a taxi. And the staff were brilliant, friendly and very helpful. The problem though is there are so few of them. Breakfast was OK, a reasonable choice though some items did look like they'd reappeared for several days, so we avoided them. But we had to get our own knives and forks to lay the table before helping ourselves. And the poor lad on Reception had to run upstairs to serve coffee and tea when anyone arrived in the dining room, before running back down again. Our room was OK, clean, a little worn but very acceptable for the price. But there were no instructions for the safe and we managed to lock things in it. The hotel had to get someone in the following day to open it up. The bathroom was adequate though the shower was iffy and unpredictable. Bottom line is we didn't think it was in any way a four star hotel. Three maybe. It needs improving to make it four star. But all credit to the staff for their work and help throughout our stay. Thry did really well under the circumstances

    Modern hotel furnished to high standard 15 min walk from Poi Kalan. Spacious rooms with balcony, very good breakfast, fast WiFi, good AC, Staff extremely helpful and courteous. Helped me book train tickets using personal card( Uzbek railway app would not accept Visa/ Master/ AmEx). Godd restaurants in walking distance Perfect stay for 2 day visit

    The hotel is okay, and looks very good in photos. Bedding could do with an upgrade, especially the sheets which had a tendency to slip off the mattress (also no mattress covers). It is in a quiet location, a 15-20 minute walk from the main attractions of Bukhara. The breakfast options are good, although service throughout the hotel could do with further training - there just always seemed to be 3-4 young men running the whole hotel 24 hours a day.
