Doolin House

Location is brilliant. 10 minute drive from Cliffs of Moher. 2 minute walk from the pub that has good pub food and a great atmosphere. 2 minute walk from a great bakery for breakfast Sean Nos. Was aloud to check in a hour early as we arrived early with was a very kind gesture. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Very quiet area of town so no disturbance from outside. Basic and does exactly what you want from a hotel room. Owner was very kind and friendly. Big plus and would definitely stay here again if we come to Doolin again. Lots of space for parking. Could even park on the street for free if needed but there’s enough parking spaces for the amount of rooms in Doolin House I guess.

WiFi can be weak or not work sometimes but on holiday so get off your devices and talk to each other. Felt like the walls were made of paper as we could hear people in other rooms and anyone who walk walking up the stairs or in the corridor. Could hear conversations happening at reception. Luckily none of this was too late or too early.

Spacious and clean. Located near several pubs and an easy walk to the Doolin pier. The owners were delightful.

The only ‘issue’ was the bathroom. The flooring was buckled and needed a trim and the shower curtain was disgusting. But great water pressure and instant hot water.

Accommodations were great. It was a stopping point, we got there late, and host was still accommodating to us.

Nothing indicating it was the Doolin house (no sign) Wasn’t notified you had to call for reception Stayed two nights and found hot water and heat were shut off during the day and they forgot to turn it on Beds were very uncomfortable
