Great location, great communication, really enhances your stay at BPW.

Great communication from the manager and the location is fantastic for BPW. The ability to come back each day, clean the bikes and wash your cloths makes life so easy.

A wonderful stay, would recommend.

The apartment is fantastic and being able to have a bath was wonderful! Close to shops, a friendly pub and takeaways, and lots of walks. The car park was easy to access and saved us lots of stress.

Comfortable stay in S. Wales.

We had a very comfortable stay. The beds were good, off road parking, very helpful manager who responded quickly, clean.

Kitchen could do with a few items (scales, measuring jug and casserole for the oven), off road parking is a bit tricky to access and while we had plenty of space I'm not sure that sitting down to eat with 4 adults would be great. All of these are minor quibbles, we had a really nice stay.

Lovely short break would definitely return

It was clean and comfortable the railway station was close by and had a frequent connection service. There are a lot of takeaways within easy walking distance and a shop across the road so getting supplies or meals was also easy

Great little Home from home

Location was easy to find. Host gave great instructions and helped us when we were stuck. Any questions we had or issues were resolved immediately. Such as the smoke alarm ran out of batteries and Neil changed it right away. Some. Games available and cards too which we enjoyed. Shower was awesome with 2 heads one for washing hair and the other a huge wide one. Great security and private area to park. Washing machine useful. The host Neil was great left us clean bedding and towels, tea, sugar, coffee and even soap and washing up liquid, things we had bought (being organised for once) but it was a lovely touch from a host! And also so unexpected! We had a great time and would come again!

Excellent location and facilities

Excellent location for Bike Park Wales and a secure yard and garage with bike washing facilities. Kitchen was well equipped, the beds were super comfy and the open plan living room and kitchen were ideal.

There was no double bed so we just pushed the two singles together. No cafetière. Washing powder would have been quite handy too for the bike gear.

Great flat, great location

Great host and super comfy flat! The shower was a proper delight! Well located for anyone wanting to visit South Wales and have walks in the Brecon Beacons. Great amenities around with a couple of convenience stores and restaurants in the same street.

We had everything we needed regarding the facilities. The bedrooms were clean and very comfortable. There were maps and local food information available and the whole property was clean and welcoming.

I would stay here again, for me there is no reason to find anywhere else, this place was perfect.

The property was clean and had everything that we needed. The host was amazing and everything was really well organised. The parking and other facilities of the property was perfect, as was the location for Bike Park Wales.

The only minus is a tap in the kitchen, can't be set on warm water and low flow -its always on max(or low flow but extremely hot)

Bad

Unfortunately when we arrived (in appalling weather - heavy rain ) my brother found the steps up to the apartment were too high and in the rain he said they were dangerous we also could not access the keys so we canelled the stay and my son who lives in Pontypridd arranged two nights in a local hotel. I was unaware my brother's health made the steel stairs unusable in the conditions. The manager was very helpfull on the phone but there was very little he could in the situation. Regards, Colin

Great family apartment

Perfect apartment for family of 4. Everything we needed was available, including off street, safe parking. The river running in front of the apartment added to our enjoyment. Importantly (to me at least), the property was spotlessly clean, the shower is amazing, and the beds comfortable. Choices for take-out were limited for our stay as both Chinese take-aways were shut for holidays, but there were other choices available and a local shop for us to stock up if needed. The host, Neil is super responsive.

The village is not the prettiest, but don't be put off. The locals are really friendly and helpful and the apartment is close to everything you might want or need to explore the magnificently beautiful area.

Exceptional

The house was perfect for what we needed. Lovely and clean. Communication from the owner was brilliant with clear instructions for contactless check-in. The security was brilliant, especially with us bringing bikes as we were attending Bike Park Wales. Lovely comfy beds and the house had all the little facilities that you forget you need but really appreciate. Cannot recommend enough and will be staying here in future rather than using a chain hotel we usually stay with.

Great cosy and homely apartment, close to the Taff Trail.

Very homely cosy apartment, nicely situated next to the river and close to shops. Neil is fantastic, and really helpful. We stayed at Station House as we were visiting family in Merthyr Tydfil for Christmas. As well as off street parking, you also have access to a garage, so I imagine this would be a really great property if your visiting Bike Park Wales and it’s also very close to the Taff Trail. Great stay and will definitely return next time we are visiting family.

A riverside delight

All of the amenities were available, including a well stocked kitchen (utensils, tableware, tea/coffee facilities, condiments). The apartment also passed my mom's white glove test for cleanliness, even in often missed spots! I was pleasantly surprised to find useful information about activities and nearby shops, etc on the coffee table, as well as takeaway menus. We felt very secure behind the locked gate to the driveway. As close as we were to the river, it was only audible when opening the front door.

The duvets and a towel smelt of cigarette smoke. Also, I had some trouble regulating the heating.
