The staff are very friendly, and our breakfasts were delicious. The view from our room and from the dining facilities was amazing. It is also very close to all facilities outside the guest house.
The self-catering unit was lacking some kitchen elements; for example, there was no grater for cheese, the knives need sharpening, and there was no checklist of what items are in the kitchen. The shower taps are very tight, and after a shower, the shower head drips unless you tighten the tap with extreme force.

I liked the environment with the tranquility of the lake and the horses not forgetting the eateries nearby.the view from my room of the mountains was awesome. Last but not least the breakfast fit for a king all included in the price which was exceptional for the price.
I didn't like that the water from shower was lukewarm and the pressure was very low so it was awkward for me to really have a good shower and being winter 3 degrees Celsius I would have preferred a lovely hot shower with full pressure.

Location is prime spot, walking distance from the square, hiking trails and shops.
Allowed for one night booking
Breakfast was delicious
The mattresses in the bedrooms are terrible
The main bed mattress rolls two people into the middle of the mattress and is incredibly soft.
Getting to the plugs under the bed was a mission as the electric blankets and heaters were unplugged. And we were visiting over the snow week.
The microwave in the kitchen had a fish smell which lingered.
