Bohol Beach Club

This hotel is a little gem. We just spent 9 wonderful days at the Bohol Beach club. The staff really makes a difference, from the cleaners, to the cooks, lifeguards, reception, waiters and everyone working there. Rooms are big and new, beds are perfect for 2 adults and a couple of kids. The pool is perfectly located in front of the beach, very big and clean, warm like I like it (similar to sea temp). Beach is always clean, no seaweed. Also no scary jellyfish or anything dangerous. Water is turquoise and you can do snorkel to the nearby reef. You can also rent padel board or kayaks if you want at a fee. If you want night life, they arrange a tuktuk for 200 pesos to alona beach, but for me not really worth it. Restaurants are amazing and we had enough variety for 9 days to not get bored. But again, what really calls out this hotel is its people. You can tell they genuinely care for the guests, we felt almost like family. Will definitely return!

They strive to maintain a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. Food was great! Beach was excellent. Had the most amazing sunrise. Staff was nice and accommodating. This place was so organized!

Great food and great food choices. Like the open air flow rooms. Landscaping was well done.

Boring! No volleyball court, zero lawn games, no bar with TV, no billiards table, and not even a Spa! This is a the most boring and isolated hotel I have ever stayed at. Can’t easily walk out of resort. Ocean was dirty and people constantly hurt. I saw several people step on sea urchins. I personally was stung by jellyfish. On windy days we battled floating garbage coming from the public beach next door.
