Everything! The location, the hospitality and feeling safe. Very lovely styling and welcoming touches.

Morgan was an excellent host! We don't think he could've been more helpful. He was around most of the time if we needed to ask anything, and was very accommodating and flexible with breakfast times. He made sure that we had enough choice for our preferred petit-déjeuner, when we wanted it. We were also able to help ourselves to tea or coffee, anytime we wanted to. Our room was decorated in a lovely art deco style that seemed to be reflected throughout the rest of the property. Morgan made sure we had everything we needed, but said to ask if there was anything else required. The 'Garden View' room was reasonably cool, even though there was no air conditioning, and the temperature was in the mid thirties. It was shaded all day by the surrounding buildings, so quite comfortable. Morgan was really helpful with advice for the best way to get from A to B, and about local areas that were good to visit. We were able to leave our luggage on the last day, as our departure wasn't until the evening. This was great, as it gave us another whole day to explore. There were plenty of cafés, bars and restaurants practically on the doorstep, with the Place de la Bastille being just round the corner. It was easy to get everywhere in Paris from Bastille metro station. Overall, a really enjoyable stay, in a beautiful place, with a lovely host!

The only slight, minor, niggle we had was the ensuite. There were toiletries provided and it was very clean and beautifully decorated. But it was quite small and a little difficult to manoeuvre in. It seems this is probably normal in Paris B&Bs. We managed okay, but some people might find it problematic.

Morgan is a great host and very communicative. He makes delicious apricot jam for breakfast! The room and bathroom were clean and nice. The bed was comfortable.

I did not like that there was no air conditioning.
