The space, the decore, the comfort and especially the food cooked by amazing Naam bhaiya.
The only shortcoming I felt was that there were no Ubers or any taxis allowed near the hotel. There always around 500 mt walk to take Ola/Uber.

It was well maintained, super clean and Karni ji and everyone was super friendly!
The chai was also very good.
the entrance was a little questionable.

The staff were friendly & really an accommodating, especially the house keeper/cook. He cooked us some fantastic food.
We arrived late at night & our first impression was not good at all, especially with 3 flights of stairs. It looked very run down.
However, in the morning the terrace/dining are and breakfast were great. The views from the roof top also great. It was very near sights & only a tuktuk from the forts.
Bathroom facilities bit basic - nowhere to hang/ put
clothes/toiletries.
Aldo, no sheet to sleep under.

People spit and pee at the entry. It was too smelly and a very bad location. Though the property is maintained well but not a good area.
Also, the host asked me to pay extra which was rs 2400 when the booking com shows ₹1767 plus rs 88 tax. They said that we charge as per our own at the property. That was weird. No one asked for more pay at the property, I have always paid what is mentioned in booking.com

The location is great, near the main attractions and bazar. It was quite clean and spacious room. It was safe as well, despite the entrance and area of bazar. Staff was nice. Sheets were clean and bed was comfortable.
This accommodation is part of a commercial buidling, there are no external windows, but windows facing the interior of the building. We could hear lots of noise in these hallways and one morning we were woken up by a person vommiting somewhere near. The sound was very strong and we had a feeling that someone is in the room.

Very good location just inside old town in a bazar area, walking distance to city palace (20-30min through bazar streets and pink Jaipur), a lot of street Traffic during business hours, but quiet up through a dedicated elevator to the hotel with nice roof terraces. Restaurant was safe and clean, very friendly owners (and cook) giving good advice. Make sure you see the Amber Fort and the Royal Grave Site. We had a great time in Jaipur and Doongri House
Was all good, we would come again, Thank you

We had a wonderful stay at Doongri House in Jaipur! The place is truly unique — located on the rooftop of a building, offers an open terrace with a fantastic view. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, with clean sheets and everything perfectly tidy. Breakfast was tasty, and overall, we were extremely happy with our stay. A great spot to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of Jaipur!

The room and the property is excellent. Their staff/cook is really good, warm and helpful. Everything was great. The food they offer is a bit on the pricier side but it was very hygienic and home cooked so it’s great. Loved the tea. The seating area is decorated with beautiful plants and it feels like home.
The location is in a very busy street and is in between 2 shops. There will be vans at times parking in that narrow street making it hard to figure out how to get to the property. There is an elevator exclusively meant for the guest access which takes you to 3rd floor. Once you entered the lift it’s another world and a lovely place. Just the outside, is a bit chaotic with the public, vehicles and noise. Except the location, I’d give it a high recommendation.
Suggestion: we booked triple room for 3 people for 2 nights but there was only 1 tiny shower gel and shampoo provided. Would’ve been nicer to provide one for each guest.

Location is very central. The bed was super comfy and the room was excellent in terms of cleanliness and space. Staff were so kind and helpful. Really recommend a visit!
The road is a little bit noisy at night so if you're sensitive, bring ear plugs!

great location. nice terrace although not some special views. breakfast good but could be more generous. room and bathroom are really big. some hangers would be handy. it was really clean before we came ( and we were there for a holi sooo we apologize one more time :-) )

For us the location was great. It was midway between the old bazaar area of Jaipur and the more affluent south side of the city and we walked nearly everywhere. The breakfasts weren’t included with our rate but were made fresh to order and were always good. We didn’t eat dinner in the accommodation. Doongri House is set slightly back from the street and is up on the 3rd floor so we had a beautiful oasis in the heart of Jaipur, with plenty of space to relax on the terrace. It was hot when we visited so the air con was essential.
No tea and coffee in the room, but this was available from the kitchen any time.

Don't be shocked by the entrance, after the elevator (which is only for guests) a beautiful terrace is waiting for you.
The rooms are big and tidy. Very clean place for Indian standards.
Credit card payment possible.
With the tuk tuk you can reach the center / main shopping street / city palace ect. within 10 min. depending on traffic.
The area is a busy narrow bazar street, but the shops are not nice. They all sell the same ugly clothes, mostly for man.

Clean, amazing rooftop, really hot water in the shower, great people. Don’t have anything bad to say. Love it!

Simply amazing food, cooked by the house help. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here frequently. All wishes are granted, for example food without chili (spice). The owners are also very friendly and helpful with any requests we had. Another great thing about this place is the amazing atmosphere, right in the old city of Jaipur. The location is great for sightseeing all the best places in Jaipur itself.
To be honest not much, the only thing to say is don't get mislead by the entrance, just take the lift up and enjoy your stay!

The position is completely central and easy to reach. The place has a huge and comfy terrace. There is also a kitchen that offers all the meals. The room and the bathroom were very big and clean and tidy. We really liked the night spent there.

One should cross trough a shop and take an elevator to discover this nice hidden place. It has large terrace where you can spend nice evenings on top of the basar and listen how city goes silent gradually. The room is large, and has a large bathroom. The staff is nice and the owners are involved.
The location is situated in Indira basar and could be messy and noisy sometimes. We didn't have a proble with this but it could be a criterie for some.

Wow, what a wonderful hideaway in Jaipur! A beautiful little rooftop hotel, wonderfully presented, large, clean rooms - our bathroom was huge too! Hot water in the shower.
The owner and her team are fantastic. So friendly, accommodating, helpful. We got some great tips regarding things to do in Jaipur.
But number one is the food they do. It’s fairly priced and absolutely delicious. Better than our fancy restaurant visits in Delhi! The veg curry is a must-try!!! They even packed us up food to-go when we had to rush for our train.
You won’t regret if you pick this place for your stay!
It was a little hard to find, so instructions ahead of our stay would be my one recommendation.

Entrance of the building looked spooky but once we found the right door it felt like we suddenly stepped into a different world. The place looked magical with its sunny terrace, white walls and a nice view of the busy streets of Jaipur. The room was perfect. I've never seen such spacious bathroom in India! At night we could watch the moon on the rooftop and enjoy delicious homemade food. Perfection!

this property is newly opened, just in September. the location is a bit hard to find, you need to go into the hallway where there’s a big sign, then take the elevator on your right to the third floor and then turn left into the big white doors. the host was very quick to respond when we were looking for it so it was no problem at all. the room is very very basic but the beds are comfortable and everything is good. the terrace is the crowned jewel of this place. the photos don’t do it justice! you can watch the sunset from there and it’s just lovely. also, the chef can make an assortment of meals for you throughout the day with just a 30-45 minute heads up. the food was INCREDIBLE. we tried a half portion (plenty of food btw) of everything and it was all delicious. the host is also very helpful with suggestions and organizing our days with us. overall, very good stay. it’s a bit loud on the bazaar street but as soon as that is closed up, it’s very very quiet and makes for a comfortable sleep. it’s a basic room but for the price, it is great and we recommend it
a bit noisy until later on in the evening but then it’s silent. the shower head was a bit chaotic and the shower is just joined with the bathroom without a curtain so everything gets a bit wet but we figured it out after a couple of showers. no big deal. a bit difficult to find but very good responsiveness from the host.

The room was very spacious, clean and beautiful. We could use two atmospheric roof tarraces with a view on the city. Our host gave us advice on our plan of sighseeing and recommended us a taxi agency. Wifi worked well.
The guesthouse is located at the market street, which can be very busy during the day. The entrance to the guesthouse didnt look welcoming as it was shared with some workshops.

Lovely big outdoor area, rooms were bigger than usual.
As it's so centrally located it is a bit noisy at night.

Divya was extremely helpful to help me plan my itinerary getting around Jaipur. Suresh-ji cooked really delicious food and looked after my needs. The room is extremely spacious and clean with hot water.
The location is located right in the middle of the bazaar so may be slightly noisy at night.

Good position
Staff very nice
Loud speaker on the street could be heard from the room very early in the morning
There's a lift for guests but not always working, you have to ask the staff to switch it on everytime you need

Big spacious room, comfortable bed, very kind and helpful hosts, good wifi, easy to go around from there for sightseeing. The room didn't have a tv but as I don't watch tv, it didn't matter.
The noise! Until the shops are open, it is understandable that there will be street noise as it is in the main market. But there seems to be one shop that starts playing blaring music after 10 PM and goes on till midnight or more. I couldn't sleep at all for the two nights I was there.

We loved the guest house , with a roof to view views across old town .
Room clean freshly decorated and conformable. Suresh served an excellent breakfast and tasty supper dishes . He taught us how to fly kites on roof top . The highlight of the day was flying kites which were supplied by guest house team -
We loved it all well managed my owner ,

Very nicely done terrace which is inviting for reading and relaxing, and breakfast/dinner. Super helpful staff for sightseeing recs and cafes. Somewhat basic but very spacious and clean rooms.
The location is at a bazaar, which does create some noise day and night. It wasn't too much, but if you're looking for a (very) quiet place you should consider this

The property is very well managed by Mr. Karni, the host and his daughter. They took care of us and accommodated any extra requests we had.
The rooms themselves are cozy and homely. Beautiful furnishings from Sanganeer greet you as you enter. The biggest surprise is the attached walk-in and bathroom!
The food available at the stay is yummy and also of very high quality, a special mention to the piping hot masala chai that fuelled us in the mornings!
The attached outdoor space is definitely an added delight. Do catch the sunrise while lounging on the comfy chairs or wind down in the evening with the lights of Jaipur visible in the background.

We were taken back as soon as we arrived. Instantly we were greeted by the owners and the staff at the property, we felt at home straight away.
The pictures on the internet does not do justice for the space and quality of room provided. Exceptionally clean and comfortable living!
The communal areas (roof/terrace)were perfectly maintained and felt like an oasis in the city.
Nothing was too much to ask, they even found a seamstress to mend a broken garment of mine. they had it fixed perfectly within 12 hours.
