Colinda Cabanas

Location is on the quiet side of the small island but close enough to the busy areas. The cabanas are very cute, the dock with lounge chairs is a great spot to enjoy the ocean and breeze without the crowd. The free bikes are awesome to explore the island. We made a lot of use of the bikes, day and night.

My room didn't have A/C :( A/C was not included in the room description, but the description also didn't mention there was no A/C... I completely ignored this details because never would think a tropical beach hotel had rooms without A/C. My room has two big fans but it was still pretty warm and humid. All the A/C rooms were fully booked, so I didn't have the option to change. It was bearable, but having A/C would have been much better after spending a whole day in the outside under the sun. So if you are not a fan of non-A/C lifestyle, make sure you book the room with A/C in the description. Other than this, everything else was great.

Loved the little vila of cabanas, the AC and everything worked properly although you are a bit far from the center of the island they give you bikes and that is super handy and it's literally just 5min cycle and perfect way to enjoy the island. super recommend and they were flexible about check in and check out hours.

our room was a bit dark even during the day, maybe that's because we got the last bungalow tho. not really a problem to be fair is a small detail (natural light shining through is a personal preference)

We booked the oceanfront cabana (unit #1) and thought it was worth the extra money. It was wonderful to have views of the water from our balcony. That said, I'd be happy to stay in the other units that are further back from the water, as one can always hang out on the dock for great views.

Communicative and friendly staff, simple check in and out. Optional use of bikes and towels, in a good position close to the beach and sheltered from the seaweed smell despite the time of year.
