Weezie's Ocean Front Hotel and Garden Cottages

Great rooms, very sizable, very friendly staff

I loved the room!

They advertise Weezies Hotel and Garden Cottages- what they don't tell you is that the Cottages are a few blocks away. We could not sit outside to enjoy the pool as we were being eaten alive by mosquitoes. The management should spray the premises - i understand if there is a little problem with bugs etc but this was ridiculous. Coming on vacation to enjoy but had to stay indoors. Bug spray did not help. We sprayed every few minutes but to no avail. I am originally from South Africa and people are told to take malaria tablets before visiting - I feel I have been bitten by so many mosquitoes in one week than in my 67 years! So no I won't be back and I would not recommend it to any of my friends or family.

Breakfast was great, the room was clean the bed was small and make noise friendly staff especially the chef, well I think she's the chef. But overall it was good 👍 I enjoyed staying there

The only downside was that we got a very dirty golf cart and was promise a clean one when avaliable but that never happened. When notified the front desk we were promise a refund which we got when checking out. Apart from the golf cart it was great

The staff and accommodations were very nice. The location was not convenient to anything at all, requiring a $10 taxi ride to town every time (and $10 back). We did walk to town several days but would have preferred to be closer to restaurants and ANYTHING at night.

The location required taxi rides or a mile+ walk into town. No nearby restaurants or coffee shops.
