The best thing was the cleanliness – the place was squeaky clean. The location was also great, right in the centre of the village (on a steep street, as expected). The small balcony was lovely to sit out on and the hostess was friendly and usually around, which would be very helpful if anyone needed assistance.
Unfortunately, the lack of soundproofing meant we were accidentally woken a few times by other guests in the morning. A few things could do with updating, such as the utensils, door and wardrobe. The water pressure is quite low and the toilet sometimes needs extra water from the provided basin to flush properly.

Clean and tidy apartment if a little basic. Host was very helpful and pleasant. Location was interesting, near restaurants, shops and other places of interest.
The road to the property was very difficult to negotiate as it was steep and cobbled. As there were no taxis allowed to access the area it made getting rather exhausting.
