Shine Studios

Das Apartment ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Vaso ist eine tolle und aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Die Lage ist ruhig, aber man kann zu Fuß in den Ort und zum Strand gehen. Oder einfach in dem schönen Garten sitzen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden wieder kommen.

Es war alles in Ordnung.

From the moment we arrived and was met by the lovely Vasso, to the time that we left, a week later, we felt as if we were old, dear friends, being treated as such. We have been coming to Greece (17 islands and counting) for nearly 30 years and almost always staying in studios / apartments. I can honestly say this was the nicest, best equipped studio we have stayed in. Everything worked as it should and the quality of furnishings, linen, towels etc. was excellent. We particularly liked the multiple aspect windows and doors, all with mosquito screens, that allowed the wind to funnel through. For me as long as I have a fridge that keeps my beer cold and a balcony on which to read my book, I am happy. Caroline however has a different set of criteria, and she was really impressed with bathroom lights, mirrors, dressing table lights, ironing board (!), bed linen on and on. Set in lovely and quite extensive gardens and surrounded by fields, gave Shine studios a really relaxed feel. Two routes to Skala Kallonis, both about 10 mins walk, nearest beach 12 mins walk. We will definitely return, Vasso is a wonderful host and typifies the Filoxenia spirit, she is also very Green Fingered !!

Absolutely nothing

Erg schoon, elke dag schoongemaakt, bijzonder vriendelijke gastvrouw, prima appartement, niet heel groot, maar van alle gemakken voorzien. Fijn balkon.

Enigzins dicht bij de doorgaande weg, niet super storend.

Excellent central location from which to explore the whole island (during my trip I rented a car). With Skala Kallonis nearby, there are plenty of good restaurants and a nice beach at walking distance. The host was very nice, every day the room was cleaned well, and most days the host left some traditional greek treats for me, which were really good! All windows were fitted with mosquito netting, so I had no problems with any mosquitos during my stay :). Also reasonably close to the Kalloni salt pans, which are an excellent location for watching Flamingo's, Pelicans, and other birds, especially nice during spring migration (which was slowing down when I was there at the end of May).
