Shine Studios

The owner thought all the details at the room. The room was big enough for two people. It was close to markets (7 minutes away by car). Car park is in the garden. It was quite and nice place.

It was a lovely studio, run by a couple in their sixties who manage a two-storey building with four studio flats. It was decorated in very good taste and equipped with all the appliances needed to make tea, regular coffee or iced coffee. There were dishes, an oven, cutlery and everything a kitchen needs to prepare a meal. The bathroom was quite spacious; the shower was a bit small just about the right size. The twin beds were also 80 cm wide. We had a lovely little balcony overlooking a beautiful garden. Everything was just fine. The Location. The beach at Scala Kallonis was lovely too. The village of Scala Kallonis is located at the head of the Gulf of Kallonis, which is very well known. Because of its shallow waters and the fact that the gulf is quite sheltered, there are many migratory birds that spend time there, which in turn attracts a lot of birdwatchers. TWe saw herons and flamingos. There are also salt marshes not far away, where salt is, of course, produced. At Scala Kallonis beach, you had to walk perhaps just under 100 metres before the water started to get deeper. What’s more, there are several restaurants, cafés and tavernas in the vicinity where, we had lovely meals.

We cannot say that there was something that we did not like. Everything was very good.
