Delightful place to stay in handy and peaceful location.

The hotel is a lovely building in a quiet and convenient location. Proprietor Maria is extremely kind, friendly and helpful without being in the least intrusive. Rooms are very pleasant, clean and well-kept, with excellent ensuite facilities. Studios and apartments are also available. Most have balconies and/or sea views. There is a lovely terrace on the top floor. Prices are very reasonable and good value, especially if you travel outside the main tourist season as I did. Thoroughly recommended, and I would love to return.

Charming, clean, fabulous location to relax

This place is wonderful, steps to the beach and cafes and close to the Old Town, bus and ferry stations and a 40 min walk from the airport. A warm breeze flows through the cheery room and the terrace is devine. I just want to stay and soak it all in, but it’s a good central island to visit other islands.

The owner lives here and grew up here and takes pride in making it clean and wonderful for others to enjoy. I’ll give it an 11!

Perfect hotel for a Naxos stay.

Hotel Elizabeth is beautiful. The rooms are very pretty, with all the things you need to prepare meals, relax after a beach day, and grab coffee on the balcony. Maria is a great host- friendly, accommodating, and makes you feel like a long time valued customer. The hotel is just blocks from the beach, cafes and shopping - including some really unique local shops.

The location is so perfect, so close to the beach and heaps of delicious restaurants! Also only a short walk to the main town and 5 minute walk away from bars/clubs! A lovely place to stay in Naxos Chora!

This is a wonderful little hotel, literally 50m from Ag. Georgios Beach. I booked the single room, and I could not ask for more: very clean, good WiFi, a balcony overlooking the bougainvilleas. The bed and pillow were comfortable, so I could sleep well. I had a reading lamp by the bed, which is a big plus for me :D. Maria is a great host, she continuously asked me if I needed anything, she was very kind and agreeable. Since she speaks very good English, we could enjoy a friendly chit-chat every now and then, she gave me tips on where to go and buy water or juice from the supermarket (there is one about 100m away) or which car rental company offers a good price. So, if you are looking for a lovely and affordable place to stay in Naxos, this is it!

A Place to Call Home

Maria (the owner) welcomes you like family. When I arrived she made me coffee, when I left she sent me off with home made cake. The rooms are spotless, and her second generation hotel is 100 metres from the beach, restaurants and public parking. No wonder people return to this hotel for years and years.

Picturesque hotel to discover Naxos

Maria was very attentive in welcoming me. She is very warm and friendly. The hotel is very beautiful, there are very friendly cats. It is excellently located, you can enjoy the best of Naxos from there. They gave me good directions, etc. The hotel is very picturesque.

The room was a bit noisy and the balcony lacked some privacy. Perhaps some dividers could be placed so as not to be so close to the room neighbors.

Sweet, simple and welcoming stay at family run hotel by the beach

Maria, the host, is wonderful! She makes you feel at home and is happy to help any way she can. Great location, right by the beach and only minutes away from the lively town streets. The front of the property is a classic Greek experience with flowers, blue doors and cute kitties. The air conditioning was a great relief from the hot sun.

Unfortunately you can hear everything in the building, so if you’re a light sleeper be sure to use earplugs. The shower can also use an upgrade as there was no shower head mount and the very small and flimsy curtain caused it to be impossible to not get water everywhere.

Overall the location was great and Maria was a great host.

Maria was very friendly, she made us coffee and some delicious cookies. The place was very clean. So close to the beach and some restaurants by the beach. 10 minutes walking distance to Naxos town and we didn't mind we went there every night and so many restaurants and shopping to choose from and the bus is also right close to the harbor.

The room was a little tight for 3 people in my opinion, it will be better for two people but we only use the room to sleep in.

The hotel was clean and very pretty! Maria the hostess is the best she is super sweet and will help you find whatever you need! It's located 1 block or 2 min walk to the beach and some restaurants. 5 min walk to the boardwalk with all the shops and restaurants ! The room was comfortable and very clean! We enjoyed our stay very much! Thank.you Maria for the great memories we take with us and the treats you gave us they were delicious 😊

Perfect paradise in Naxos

I have just returned from an amazing stay in Naxos. I have always wanted to visit and it did not disappoint. Maria was an amazing host, I did not want to leave, she gave me juice when I arrived and recommended a fantastic restaurant around the corner on the beach and made me feel like a member of the family. I was given the most amazing room with a little balcony amongst the beautiful pink flowers. It is literally just around the corner from the beach and 10 min walk to town. Perfect location, perfect host, perfect everything. Can't wait to return.

Hotel Elizabeth is super affordable, a close walk to the main area of town and a closer walk to a beach. My room, and I think all the rooms, had a little balcony. Maria, the owner, is the nicest human ever! She is so genuinely kind and I was sad to leave Naxos and her! She gave me a big hug goodbye and a cookie when I left. Thanks for making Naxos a home for me for a short while Maria!

Maria is very sweet, chatty and helpful. She was flexible with my checking in and checking out times, and allowed me to leave my luggage until 20pm before calling me a cab. Location very good with close proximity to Chora and Agios Georgios beach. Strong WiFi. The mattress is very comfortable.

Host Maria is a 10+. Very helpful and happy to answer any questions you ask. She made us some Greek Style Coffee and some home made biscuits. Great Location. Room was a great size. Own large Balcony. Great Ocean View. Beach is 2 min walk. Town is 5 min walk. Port is 10 min walk. Easy to find. Great price. Safe Secure Location. Buses are near the port so a 10 min walk. Tip - at the top of the street is a fountain for free water. The water is perfectly fine to drink Internet was fantastic no issues at all. There is a great supermarket just around the corner with good prices. There are a couple of other ones nearby as well. The whole town is walkable. Clean Comfortable and Quiet. Great for sleeping. We also had a clothes line and pegs to use. Bed was comfortable. Nice view from balcony and other window in the room. Lots of light in the room. Has basic kitchen facilities but enough to get by with during our stay. Good Air Conditioner.

There is not a lift. So if you have the top floor it will be 5 lots of steps but it really is not a big deal. Thought I would mention it in my review. We noticed the shower was warm 3 nights of our stay and hot the other 2 nights. Kitchen facilities are basic. No Fry pan.

The hostess was amazing. She was extremely helpful in giving us recommendations about the surrounding area, and was very welcoming... we felt like she welcomed us as friends... even gave us a slice of her apple cake to try after she went on a baking spree. We had a lazy couple of days in the room before we really got out and started exploring Naxos, and the cleaning crew was really communicative with us about when they'd next be back and to check in about what we might need given that. Facilities were perfectly functional, clean, and tidy. We didn't have a car or scooter but could easily walk to all the important areas in Naxos Chora, and yet the area was very quiet for sleeping and relaxing. Extremely good value for the price. If we find ourselves back in Naxos, we'll definitely be reaching out again :)
