Limpet Cottage - Beautiful Space & Close To Town

The locaction was perfect - a very peaceful road one back from the harbour. It was only a minute's walk away to the harbourside and restaurants. The property was delightful, with a lovely small garden with table, chairs and an umbrella. Beautiful views from the lounge window out to the harbour. We found the beds comfortable, and the en-suite and basin on the top floor meant not having to go down two flights of stairs.

No suggestions for improvement. Beware however, because of the charming style of the cottage, the second flight of stairs to the top bedroom may make it a challenge to carry up a large or heavy case.

Loved the location. Cottage is wonderful in all aspects.

Slight odour in room at rear with washing machine in.

Limpet Cottage is in a very central location with lovely views over the harbour from the dining area. The fresh scones were a welcome treat on arrival and the provision of room fans were much appreciated given the hot weather. A roomy ground floor bathroom with an efficient shower.

We knew that there would be some steep internal stairs given the nature of the property. Not an issue for us but anyone with limited mobility may struggle unless accommodated in the ground floor (double) bedroom. Accessing the 1st floor kitchen/dining room and the outside terrace all involve steep steps and the 2nd twin bedroom is up another flight of narrow stairs in an attic style space. This bedroom is however bright and has its own toilet and wash basin.

Location to the harbour

No parking facility & very difficult to drive to the property, due to the road being to narrow.
