About this cottage rental
The unique charm of this property begins, quite literally, at the front door. Set into the striking sky-blue façade of this pretty cottage is the distinctive period door with feature porthole, and the character continues inside in the charming living space where you will find a log burner for cosy evenings, a feature cast iron range, beamed ceilings and exposed stone walling.
The cottage is arranged over 3 levels and stairs take you up to the first floor kitchen and an open plan living/dining room from which there are lovely views over the rooftops to the inner and outer harbours. The town takes on a different character as the sun sets and the colourful cottages light up, so relax and enjoy the evening views from this sociable space after a day exploring.
The well-equipped kitchen offers the perfect flexibility for self-catering. Brixham is a food lovers' paradise, and you will be spoilt for choice for places to eat out from morning to night. Start your day off with a short saunter down to Brixham's artisan quarter, "Middle Street", brimming with independent coffee shops, artisan bakeries and cafés, then browse amongst the creative retailers including some of the town's artists and photographers. For culinary enthusiasts, why not pick up some fresh fish straight off one of the local day boats to prepare back in the cottage and then enjoy an after dinner drink in the courtyard garden which can be accessed from the kitchen.
