All lovely.
The gardens at the rear of the property were in dire need of a lot of attention. A shame to see it so full of weeds and poor soil.

Breakfast was good. Decorated as described. Staff very nice and dressed in period wardrobe.
Inaccurate description of room, which was not on the ground floor and required climbing over 20 steps. The room was not soundproof as described, as loud noises were heard above our room each night. A/C did not properly function, and the room was stiflingly hot, which the hotel could not correct, so they brought in a fan in 96 degree heat. I never saw the "butler" which was presumably assigned to us.
