M Suites Sorrento

A beautiful apartment with a lot of character and amazing view. Francesco, the host, is super responsive, kind and very friendly. He deeply cares about his guests. The access to the Mediteraneo Hotel's pool and changing rooms is a big added value. This is a beautiful 5 star hotel with stunning view and a nice rooftop. I would love to come back to M suites!

Access is via a steep winding road. I got used to it. you have to be fit though. This hilly road comes with the view. Similar to Santorini!

It is a beautiful home with amazing views. The host is very thoughtful and even have some grocery for us. The only thing is the location is far from the center. It is a very long walk down to the center, impossible to walk back. We only walked down once, the rest we arranged a taxi in advance. There is no taxi or bus around the property. You need to pre-book taxi. Our host provided us a taxi driver's contact who was very helpful. But if you want a good view, this is the problem. In general, Sorrento is not easy to get around because of the hill, mainly with taxi. Town center area is fun if you stay close by. But it is very crowded and noisy. It is very easy to get at a taxi in the town center. Everything is great with our stay after we figure out transportation situation.

Taxi is expensive, 30 euro for every trip no matter how close it is. So if we go out 2 or three times, the cost is high.

The property is a paradise. The apartment was clean and a convenient 20 minute walk to Sorrento. Yes… it is up a significant hill, which can create a bit of a challenge if you struggle with walking. But… the hill is the reason you get the magnificent views. Spend some time exercising on a treadmill before your trip and it shouldn’t be an issue. Also, I saw some people offer negative feedback about the check in process. The sister hotel sends significant communication prior to your arrival, which means those complainers probably didn’t bother reading their messages.

Fijn appartement, heerlijk om na een inspannende dag thuis te komen. Fantastisch uitzicht, rustig en weg van de touristische drukte.

De ligging vraagt stevig klimwerk als je ervoor kiest om te wandelen. Met taxi of eigen vervoer e.d. kan uiteraard ook, maar is niet zo ons ding.
