Madeira Palace I by an island apart

Beautiful spacios apartment with a great view. Access to swimming pools and nearby the promenade. All needed facilities available. Very big terrace with a panoramic view. Suited well our family.

Parking was difficult, the garage has very narrow angles that makes expremely difficult to maneuver. It takes time and a lot of back and forth to be able to enter/exit the garage. I advice extra insurance, as there were many marks on the wall that pointed to scratched cars. Another improvement point is the check-in. It is very inflexible, starts at 4pm and there is no possibility to leave the luggage meanwhile, if you arrive with an early flight.

Geen toegang naar het strand. Weinig schaduw aan het zwembad.

Every bedroom had individual bathrooms, well equipped kitchen , balcony views 😊

Modern architecture, great views of the ocean and pools, wonderful balcony, very secure, check in time moved up 1.5 hours.

Airport transfer arranged through provider dropped us outside the gate without instruction on how to get in. We called provider to ask how to get in but no answer until he arrived 90 minutes later. Tried to leave our luggage with the security reception so we could go have lunch, but he refused. We sat by the pool which was nice, but with no signage on how to navigate the building was odd. Madeira Palace is many different buildings with elevators and again, no signage. Trash room impossible to find. Only 1 complete set of keys and another partial set for the 6 of us. Provider checked us in and when we found no toilet paper went to get it immediately. To enter gym you have to get a key from security desk which is fine but not communicated at check in or instructions. Overall, the stay was enjoyable but many details in communication and directions were not there.
