Very odd not having any staff on site, however the code for entry to the hotel was sent to my phone well in advance of arrival.

Always a lush stay!

Perfect location, comfy beds. Love the vibe and return pretty much yearly.

Always feels weird just putting the keys on the front desk at check out. A little box to deposit them into would make me feel a bit more at ease than just leaving them on the side. 🙂

Everything that includes conversation between the owner and the costumer, we had to wait until he or she I don’t know because there was nobody, everything was on the message, after about half an hour I booked the hotel the pin wasn’t sorted yet, I sent a very polite message saying about how I could go inside, someone answered “hold on you just booked”, like they didn’t have time enough to sort that and it was my fault, when we went in it was cold and I asked about the heater and he said “there is no heater on the summer” it was raining and very cold, then I got angry and I didn’t answer anymore, but horrible the services and everything, I saw that a lot of people passed through very hard situations, at least with us it was just someone not professional enough to deal with costumers and not structured enough to provide the minimal quality and safe environment for costumers, five years on england, almost every month I take one or two nights in a hotel and it has never happened to me before, a situation that could be easily avoided, I don’t recommend this hotel, probably nobody stays there twice times, it only take people because of the location and that is why they don’t care about anything, just get the money and that’s it

Location was good for the town

Bad smell coming from bathroom, very basic and the fan in the bathroom stayed on for about 20 mins which was very loud and annoying in the night. Was booked for two nights but only stayed for one, really did not want to stay for two

Great base for cricket

It's good value as it is Town centre ( but not noisy) and has free parking, very good base if you are going to cricket or football. Cricket is 10 min walk, footy about 15 min walk

Be aware it has gone unmanned, entry is via a code sent to you , was slight problem as think it has about 16 bedrooms but car park was full on arrival and no one to ask where to go and similarly if you like a local on site for information, you are not going to get it but accept this will keep the price down. Not a criticism just a comment

No remote control for the telly - hosts were responsive but really couldn't have cared less Asked about EV charging before the stay - also incredibly disinterested response, to the point of rude. Sink was cracked - bathroom quite dilapidated Overall did not like the manner with which the hosts communicated (via text and email) - zero marks for customer service. Why bother being in the 'hospitality business'?? It is not difficult to communicate politely. I would never stay there again on that basis. Made me feel very uncomfortable.

Yeah, I enjoyed it a lot

Over all I was very pleased it was better then premier for Wi-Fi comfort of pillows and bed and price and location and it was easy to book extra nights and the prices didn’t fluctuate. They were roundabout the same price you will take two or three quid. I’ll definitely be using them again. Really central to town and everything you need you need.

No host to begin with but I get it no I know what to do and the rooms need fans when it’s hot other than that I really like

Convenient for my needs. Walking distance to where I wanted to go and to the shops.

The location was convenient as we were visiting a relative who lived nearby.

There was rust in the kettle and the milk over 3 month old. I messaged to let them know before I left. They messaged back to say if I had let them know immediately they would have supplied a different kettle and milk. I did not like to disturb anyone for a kettle or milk very late at night or at 5am in the morning when I wanted a cup of tea. I pointed out that it’s part of standard housekeeping. They messaged back that it had not been been picked up and if I had messaged new would have been straight away.

A nice stay overall but needs changes

Location was great! Very clean and lovely. Affordable. Enjoyed in room coffee and tea. Nice large bathtub

I was unaware that no staff would be there. My code for the front door didn't work. I called the number and a very rude man said it wasn't time to check in yet for about an hour. I came back in an hour and had to call for a new code. Steve, the voice on the phone, who I guess is the manager was very rude. My friend helped me carry in my luggage and we were shocked that no one was at reception. I never saw a desk clerk or anyone during my three day stay. Clean towels appeared so someone came in while I was out sight seeing. The room and location was great but perspective guests should know that no staff is present. It would have changed my mind about booking there. In case of an emergency I feel it is very unsafe.

The property was clean very good decor very comfortable bed tv plenty of room space plenty to drink there was a table and chair to sit on and an armchair to sit in for more comfort and the on suite bathroom was clean and tidy and comfortable to use

Convenient location , poor service with no water

There was no water in the building from 8.pm onwards and still the same when I left at 8.00 am the next day . No water was provided to wash of flush the toilet or make a cup of tea. New meter fitters but completed by 11.00pm but still no water. No apology or bottled water supplied. Owner, very dismissive of the issue.

Great location needs some updates.

Location great, close to town and venue I was visiting. We were allocated a quiet room on ground floor as requested.

Mattress needs upgrading we kept meeting in the middle! Too soft and not very comfortable. Rising drains smell in bathroom at times. Bathroom had no toiletries which were supposed to be provided according to description. Bathroom extractor fan didn’t work. Toilet was old and struggled to take loo paper down.

Host was not there. Had to wait 1 hour to receive the code to access the hotel. Despite emaling the business several time in order to receive my invoice for business reimbursement, i have received No response. Very bad and unprofessional.

OK but not without drawbacks

The room was clean and fairly comfortable.

There's no air conditioning which meant we had to leave the windows open and our room faced the car park so there were issues with noise and privacy. We asked for a fan for the room and but none were available. Car parking for guests is a lottery as the car park is also available to the public for all day parking. We were lucky with the availability of spaces, other guests weren't.
