Great location, very close town centre, just a couple of mins walk and you're on the main shopping street. Very easy parking immediately outside hotel. Bed was a good size too, and room had 2 fully opening windows and a fan - weather really warm so appreciated the air-flow!
Stayed for 2 nights. After 1st night, the towels were changed and the tea/coffee sachets replenished but the bed was left unmade! This hotel is similarly priced to others in Taunton and the beds are made up on a daily basis in those; was suprised to find it wasn't here. Also no herbal tea-bags of any kind supplied, and none available when I asked. Felt it was over-priced as reception desk unstaffed, (you let yourself in with a key code), and there are no facilities like a bar/cafe or even a drinks/food vending machine. Not even a biscuit next to the room kettle!
Issue with the water - the cold tap temperature seems to have a life of it's own - alternates between hot and lukewarm!

Loved the room it was very cosy and comfortable, it was ideal for me due to being close to my work place and there being a Sainsbury’s down the road. It was really clean. It is a really lovely location.

Room was good value......clean/smart, and of course, well situated
Entry could be much easier.....codes texted on the day of arrival OK..........however, arriving in the dark was very difficult
to follow access instructions....only by luck did I access property due to a resident......Not clear where room was and didn't
find owner easy to follow on a poor mobile line.
I suspect most 60 year olds (and over) would have had difficulties. The format of this hotel much changed since my last
