Casa Inca Calais - Duplex Soleil Latino - Parking Free, Station

The accommodation is ideal for an overnight stay on the way to England; you can reach the ferry in 15 minutes. All the facilities are fine, and air conditioning is available on hot days. The toilet in the "closet" is a bit funny, but overall it's okay. The owner is very pleasant, accommodating, and helpful.

Wir waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal in diesem Apartement. Es hat ist so schön entspannt hier und alles sehr schnell zu erreichen.Mit Parkplatz hatten wir dieses Mal auch immer Glück und konnten direkt vor der Tür parken. Die Annehmlichkeiten des Apartements habe ich ja schon in meiner ersten Bewertung beschrieben. Wir hoffen natürlich das es bei unserem nächsten Besuch wieder frei ist.

The property had many appliances, socket points and a comfortable sofa. There was Netflix which enabled us to use subtitles.

The property was situated right next to a main train station platform. There were numerous cushions , coverlets, dangling lights in the bedroom. As soon as I went to bed a clothes moth entered my ear and we spent all night and the next morning in A& E with doctors trying to remove the live moth. Our shuttle was that morning so we returned with hospital advice to go to a specialist in England as there was not one available in Calais for 4 days. The doctors described the insect as a clothes moth. We were unable to park outside the property on return from hospital as the parking spaces were full. They appeared to be street parking not private parking as we had understood from description. I would suggest a complete fumigation of property and removal of many of the soft furnishings that may be contributing factors.
