It was not far from LeShuttle, so it was easy to get to. The staff came out to sort out the lock on the door and told us how to fix it.

The carpet going up the stairs is dangerous; it kept coming off. I nearly fell myself and had real problems with the door lock for the outside door. It would not lock, and when I was trying to get out, I could not. What if there was an emergency and you couldn't get out? It's something they need to look into.

Good spot for a simple overnight stay, and spacious enough to relax in after travel/shopping etc.

Good spot, fun decor, had everything we needed. Host was speedy and accurate with the comms, easy to get nearby parking, and nearby shops helpful too. Very comfy bed.

A few of the carpet mats on the stairs to the appartement need attaching, so watch your step! Toilet area is compact but everythings works as it should

Comfortable and easy place to stay with pets when crossing to the UK.

The place inside was very clean, comfortable and charming. The location was close to the Shuttle crossing. The hosts were easy and friendly to communicate with.

The area felt a bit dodgy and unsafe. It was also hard to find a space to park (the station car park was full). The flat is on the 1st floor and has very steep steps which were difficult for a big dog to get up and down. It was also quite noisy late into the night as the trainline was outside the window and there were noisy crowds gathered outside at the station, so if you're sensitive to noise, it might not be a good place to stay.

Great place, clean, well organized

It was a lovely apartment, clean and had everything we needed. The location was easy to find. You can park right in front of the property on a public parking. We had 2 dogs with us and there is a tiny dog park right near by.

Fab little duplex like living in an IKEA showroom ☺️

This great little apartment was like living in a perfect IKEA showroom. It was extremely well appointed with a great use of the space available. Owner had left water in the fridge for us plus some sweets on the side ( this made the kids very happy) The moving sofa was an absolute treat...the kids thought this was fabulous. The duplex is clean and well kept. Nice touches included having phone chargers in place. Free parking outside was extremely convenient.

A distressing stay due to incident described.

The property had many appliances, socket points and a comfortable sofa. There was Netflix which enabled us to use subtitles.

The property was situated right next to a main train station platform. There were numerous cushions , coverlets, dangling lights in the bedroom. As soon as I went to bed a clothes moth entered my ear and we spent all night and the next morning in A& E with doctors trying to remove the live moth. Our shuttle was that morning so we returned with hospital advice to go to a specialist in England as there was not one available in Calais for 4 days. The doctors described the insect as a clothes moth. We were unable to park outside the property on return from hospital as the parking spaces were full. They appeared to be street parking not private parking as we had understood from description. I would suggest a complete fumigation of property and removal of many of the soft furnishings that may be contributing factors.

this place did not meet our expectation from description.

Huge fridge-freezer,washing machine and tumble dryer -all are excellent. Wi-fi worked ok. The air con was very effective upstairs . We drove to Calais sea front in 10 mins ,and enjoyed a sea view restaurant meal. Remote check in worked smoothly. Sleep was not disturbed by noise of trains . Got to Eurotunnel in 10 mins next morning (on a Friday).

Air-con is floor standing -a darlek type machine and is upstairs only . Very noisy so switched off to sleep. 18 musty smelling steep,shallow tread stairs lead up to the appt, plus an awkward, tight wooden staircase leads from living room to bedroom( beware if you have mobility issues). Your head catches on hanging faux plants dangling from ceiling beam in bedroom. Toilet is a joke- small(tiny) with a poorly fitting sliding door( think caravan!) and is also up 2 steps, which lead directly from the bijou kitchen! Shower smells horrible. Car park area belongs to the local train station ,which is only a few meters from front door. No hanging rack available for washing !This appt is overpriced !

The apartment is very convenient for the motorway and euro tunnel - is very comfortable and we were able to park on the road close by. The host was super helpful - including arranging for us to pick up an item we left behind at the property.

Für ältere Leute ein absolutes NO GO.

Die ganze Wohnung ist in keiner Weise für ältere Leute ausgerichtet. Schon nur die Treppe zur Wohnung rauf ist eine Zumutung. Wäre ich alleine gewesen, hätte ich den Koffer niemals in die Wohnung bekommen. Was auch sehr störend war, ist die Toilette quasi in der Küche in einem kleinen Kämmerlein. Davor ein Vorhang und eine Schiebetür welche man kaum schliessen konnte wenn man etwas grösser ist. Man müsste einfach erwähnen, dass diese Wohnung für junge Leute ist.
