Vicarage Farm Cottages

Me and my family stayed in two of the cottages - they were both fantastic, perfect location, very spacious and the facilities were great. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a peaceful stay in the Peaks!

We loved the shared space for barbecueing and the fire (which we needed despite it being June). We also had a lot of fun on the tennis court. In practicable terms the cottages were extremely well equipped and lots of consumable items were provided e.g. foil.

Just a little more information in the welcome letter about what is provided e.g. kitchen consumables, tennis rackets etc.

We stayed in the two bed accessible cottage which was excellently equipped for accessible needs. In a quiet location with beautiful views from the back courtyard garden. Inside it was lovely - very well furnished, clean, modern and really comfortable. Samantha the host was really helpful. She quickly responded to a query about the heating (in June!). We liked the additional touch of the welcome pack with milk, bread, tea, coffee etc on arrival. The location was great for us, just 5 mins drive to Tideswell with a shop, pubs, cafes, restaurants. We struggle to find good accessible accommodation for someone with mobility issues - this ticked all the boxes and more. We hope to return. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property and gorgeous location

We had 3 cottages but the Hope Stable cottage really let us down. The cottages themselves are beautiful and the location was lovely, however the arrival experience let the stay down slightly. One of the cottages had a noticeable smell. We raised this at the time but were told there was not an issue, however it was significant enough that two girls in our group ended up moving cottages.
