Wonderful stay in a lovely rural location with charming spacious lodgings

Location. Surroundings. Tasteful and comfortable decor. Internally spacious. Well equipped. Externally tennis and fire corner.

Frying pan was the only downside. For a ceramic hob you need pots /pans with a flat base, ideally heavy for even heating. The pan is past its best with a concave shape, effectively useless.

A perfect place to stay for friends and family. It was just what we needed!!

What a beautiful cottage. It was clean, well equipped and cozy. The owners were super helpful and provided us with a wide variety of welcome items including bread, milk, eggs and butter. The beds were comfortable, the sitting room was inviting with a welcoming log burner. We will definitely return.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and clean. Samantha was quick to respond when we needed something and the outdoor facilities were beautiful as well. Beautifully located for walks and villages. You could do as much or as little as you wanted

The views were beautiful. The host was very helpful but not intrusive. Beds were comfortable and the cottage was clean.

An awesome spot to spend a weekend with friends.

It was exactly as described. Very well furnished and comfortable with lovely little touches. There was a fab welcome basket with fresh bread, cheese, eggs and milk. A lovely sunny shared space with excellent heating! Although we didn't need it we could see that the facilities for a mobility impaired person were excellent.

Quiet, relaxing break in a beautiful cottage in a stunning location

The cottage was cosy and welcoming. Loved the views of the countryside and the decor inside The complimentary provisions were great Samantha was very welcoming and quick to reply to any queries

The Hayloft was absolutely great - very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location for us was perfect - so beautiful and very peaceful. Samantha was a great host. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location

We were left a selection of local products- butter, bread, eggs etc, so we had food ready for breakfast and to make drinks. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped, modern and clean. The views from the lounge were beautiful.

The weather was absolutely dreadful, so we couldn't go out on one of the days. A few board games would have been nice. The cottage is very close to Tideswell, but not really close enough to walk, so a car is required

Roomy, very stylish, cosy, extremely well equipped, wonderfully 'get away from it all' but close to pubs and shops...we just loved it and want to go back! Samantha is a super host too

Lovely quiet area, clean and newly renovated, tennis court and lovely outdoor fire place setting, had good facilities and the hosts Samantha and Andrew went above and beyond to make our stay amazing! Would highly recommend and would definitely come again! 😊 Area was full of friendly people :)

Really comfortable and cosy, good facilities Lovely outside space and views from lounge (although windows quite low to the floor!) Friendly welcome from owner Is down quite a narrow country lane and parking getting in and out not the easiest but it wasn't an issue and we didn't come across any traffic really. Very peaceful place. 100% would recommend and stay again!

Highly recommend!

We booked our stay for couple of nights and everything was perfect! Cottages beautifully decorated and perfectly clean. Views around just lovely. Samantha is really friendly and proffesional. She showed us everything when we arrived. Both cottages look exactly the same as on the pictures. I recommend Vicarage Farm Cottages to everyone who like peace, quite and there privacy to be respected. Also the place is in the heart of Peak District so all nice walks are within short drive/walking distance. Best place we stayed so far. Will definately be back soon!
