Excellent hosts! So kind and accommodating and great at answering all our questions. Gorgeous pool. Pétanque a bonus. Well equipped kitchen including a proper bean to cup coffee maker. The most fabulous views. Comfy beds & sofa with reclining function! The town of Vence, with its historic old town, is gorgeous. The fancy electric shutters were superb at keeping out the sun.
Wasn't a dislike but we weren't aware it was a shared pool (with owners, even though they didn't use while we were there) and that was a dog on the property. We loved Purdy the dog (shes very respectful & makes 0 noise) but perhaps not everyone would? The BBQ area was a little tricky as it's basically the owners driveway so we felt like we were inconvenient there. The walk into Vence takes around 30 minutes but is along a very fast road with no pavements and this is where the nearest restaurants are. We walked in and got an Uber back.
