Very nice and dreamy accommodation

We had a lovely stay in a spacious one bedroom apartment in the hills above Vance. Carine the owner was very responsive and when we had one problem with the shower it was fixed immediately. Beautiful view from the upstairs bathroom. We’d gladly stay there again.

Beautiful house, pool and area

We booked this villa on the advertised description of it being romantic and away from it all. Whilst it is in a good location with beautiful views unfortunately this was anything but a relaxing break. Throughout the week we were repeatedly disturbed by noise from the owners home which is approx 10 metered from the villa and separated by a small hedge, this was particularly problematic from between 7pm to 930pm every night and ruined the experience of being outside and enjoying the sunset. In particular the noise was from her 2 young children and at times was almost non stop screaming. At other times we were disrupted by their friends and family when partying at the pool. We we forced to ask the family to be quiet on the first evening after several hours of non stop noise, we are sure they are a pleasant and normal family but we did not pay to be on holiday with them their children and family. In many years of renting property across Europe this was the least relaxing holiday we experienced in fact it was so unrelaxing we rearranged flights and left a day early. We raised these issues at the end of the week and suggestd they change the villa description because of this, such as recommending for family's only. The owner said she would refuse to do this hence we are writing this review to help those who are seeking a quite break.

C'est notre deuxième séjour dans ce gîte et probablement pas le dernier. Les propriétaires sont accueillants, discrets et très sympatiques.Le gîte est meublé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Vue magnifique entre mer et montagne. Vence est une très jolie petite ville à la fois rustique et moderne avec beaucoup de commerces et restaurants à disposition. La région présente des aspects très variés qui sauront satisfaire l'ensemble des touristes : villages perchés et médiévaux, villes du bord de mer réputées (Cannes, Antibes, Nice, Monaco ....) , en résumé, tous les avantages de la mer et de la montagne.

Das herzliche Besitzerpaar mit ihre 3 kleine Kinder, hat mit diesen drei Ferienwohnungen eine ruhige Oase geschaffen (erstellt 2008). Sie wohnen im Haus nebenan und sind für die Gäste da. Bei der Wohnungsübergabe wird alles korrekt erklärt. Wohnung Olivette: sehr gepflegter und sauberen Zustand. Sehr nett eingerichtet und dekoriert, in slichten provenzalischen Stil. Es ist sowie auf die Foto's. Sehr sympatisch alles. Schlafzimmer im OG, mittels offene Treppe verbunden mit Wohnzimmer im EG. Kein Tür vorhanden und evt. etwas wenig privacy bei 4 Pers. Terrasse beim Schlafzimmer hat die allerschönste Aussichten, speziell bei Nacht. Gute Matrazen und sehr gutes Sofabett. 3 grosse Kleiderschränke mit genügend Holzbügel vorhanden. Grosser walk-in Douche und viel Stauraum im Badzimmer. WC ist separat. Küche hat alles was es braucht, inkl. Wasserkocher, Kaffeemachine, Microwelle. Kein Radio-CD, nur Flat-TV mit franz. Sender. Waschmachine im Kellergeschoss. Im EG grosser Garten und Terrasse mit Sonnenschirm, Tisch und Stühle. Auch von hier wunderschöne Aussichten. Schönes Schwimmbad mit Liegemöbel. Es liegt etwas abseits der Wohnung und ist mittels den Parkplatz unterhalb dem Haus zu erreichen. Es hat eine leicht steigende Steintreppe zwischen Parkplatz und Wohnung und ist somit für Menschen mit Gehprobleme weniger geeignet. Auch das Gepäck muss diese Treppe rauf getragen werden. Lage: am Hang, hoch über Vence. 3 Fahrmin. bis Zentrum, Auto notwendig. Abseits einen ruhigen Strasse (zum Teil sehr schmall) in ein Villenviertel gelegen. Herrlich ruhig, auch in der Nacht. Man ist umgeben von Olivenbaume und Cigales. Fantastische Ausblicken auf die Cote d'Azur, von Nizza bis Antibes. In 20-25 Min. ist man an der Küste. Vence: sehr nettes Staedtchen mit viele Restaurants und Laeden. Hier laesst es sich gut leben. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können es nur weiter empfehlen.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, propriétaires charmants, vue magnifique, pas de bruit la nuit, literie très confortable, beaucoup de charme dans la décoration, une location parfaite pour de jeunes amoureux! Une situation géographique permettant de découvrir les plus beaux sites de la région sans faire trop de km. A recommander sans hésitation.
