The location was excellent everything was within walking distance. The accommodation and it's layout was quirky and full of character also very comfortable. Host had furnished with everything we could need, including beach chairs and shopping bags. The kitchen was also very well equipped. Host has taken great care to provide a lovely holiday home which makes the most of the available space and the age and character of the property. Located very close to some excellent restaurants on the main road, especially Liverpool Arms. The two parking spaces outside were ideal. I would be happy to come and stay again when I can.

Wet and musty mop and bucket left in the wardrobe in ground floor bedroom. This made the room smell mouldy and also tainted our clothes with a very stale odour. Please could it be relocated to boiler cupboard in downstairs bathroom, or somewhere else. Also the bath downstairs is only emptying very slowly at the moment as waste water plug doesn't raise up much to let the water out. Neither of these minor problems happened when we stayed here last year, so i know it can be much better than this. The stairs up to the kitchen area are very steep and hard on old arthritic knees. I know there's absolutely nothing that could be done to improve this, it's the architecture of the old building, but I'm grateful that there's bedroom, bathroom and living room facilities on the ground floor.
