Quiet and clean.

Interesting home in interesting town.
Interesting history of home.
Tight street and parking. Don't advise for older people with mobility problems. They plainly stated they had stairs. Just a bit difficult to move around in. Very nice owner and staff.

Rather dated and chaotic.
We liked the location as it was very close to all facilities.
We liked the breakfast very much and the landlady was pleasant and helpful.
Very old fashioned interior, old sunken couch, lots of stuff in every corner, too much clutter.
We assumed we had sole ocupancy but the landlady sat in the lounge with us each night. Also we weren't aware she had cats and a big dog!Not good value for money for £150 per night.

Don't bother
The location was really good.
Didn't stay. She said the cottage was damaged and offered her living room. Bedroom. Still waiting for a refund from booking.com. wasn't clean kept offering wine and port. Very disappointed. Had to book a hotel. Didn't take pictures not there long enough.

Great place Beaumaris loved it but the property was like sleeping in my nans bedroom for 2 nights
Breakfast was good and location was good
Sharing living room with other quest also numerous cats roaming around the rooms and bedrooms which didn't go well with apparently a dog friendly stay. Also it took a while to get into the property which we were told was self contained. The owner answered the phone in the end after 2 hrs of trying

Lovely and peaceful and full of character.Open fire was a really nice asset.Off street parking a real bonus .The host was most helpful and a lovely lady.
We didn't like the weather 😁,it was even too windy for the seagulls.Hopefully it will be summertime on our next visit.

The accomodation was too cold for a winter stay. It was colder in the cottage than outside. Only suitable for the hotte
location was good; quiet with own parking. Some nice touches. Cosy kitchen. Enterance and courtyard very pretty, but too cold to use.
Unsuitable for a winter stay. It was freezing to say the very least. Wifi available but didn’t work. Needs improvements throughout in terms of furniture and layout and standard of decor. It has great potential but needs lots of work. If renting out in winter, it needs insulation, adequate heating not on a meter and reliable wifi. Electric Aga a waste of space, unsuitable for cooking, but warmed the kitchen at a great expense.

It was good, cute cottage.
We couldn't connect to the Internet for the entire stay. It matched with a big storm going trough the area so likely that didn't help

Unique, period cottage
The unique features of the medieval cottage
Lack of cooking facilities. Host offered an alternative after we had shopped, expecting not to be able to cook.

Not worth the money. Not clean and safe for family with child
Could not find the property on the arrival, it took us half an hour as the host didnt pick up her phone when we needed to know which way to get to the property.
Doors to the holiday home were open and keys were hidden.
Lots of spider webs and spiders around the house, didnt seem clean to me, was not impressed at all not worth the £415 i have payed for those 3 days. Pillow sheets werent put on also dishwasher was full of dishes that have not been taken out on our arrival.
The location was lovely but i didnt find the holiday home to meet my expectations the Wifi was awfull did not work during our stay, had no signal to receive phone calls and the television kept switching off restarting when we watched kids shows with our son.
Most of the things about this holiday home , not safe for a 2 year old boy or little children, the stairs had no safety gates and were really high up just not happy with this home little one had spider crawling on his bed when getting into bed at night, spider webs everywhere i looked even in the kitchen there was a spider crawling on a microwave.
Had no breakfast in this place lady left plain butter on the table for us on arrival :') i wish i had stay at local hotel because we did not like it at all and wasnt worth the money such a shame.

Very dissapointed. Beaumaris is a wonderful place and the location was excellent. Sue was very welcoming.
We were very disappointed with the property there was nothing we liked about the accommodation.
The property could do with a deep clean, the rugs in the kitchen and lounge had seen much better days, the grouting in the shower was terrible and in desperate need of replacing.
The cutlery and pans were old and had seen their best years ago.
The window sills were filthy with dust, dead insects and leaves.
There was no internet, we were invited in to Sue’s house to connect to our phones but even if we had done that Sue said it would only work in our upstairs of the property.
When we arrived at 4.30pm Sue was still cleaning the property and making the bed.
There was no garden other the. The use of Sue’s yard, but no privacy whatsoever. Sue lives there and the only was she can get out of her property is by access through some sort of lobby that is part of the property we were staying in.
We envisaged from the write up of the property that we could sit in the garden in the early evening or mornings with our dog relaxing and reading at our leisure. There was no garden it was full of rubble and a seat that was unsafe and surrounded by weeds, rubble and junk…
So so disappointed, we left one day earlier. Sue had no idea how long we were staying until she asked me on the day we decided to leave. To be honest rather than us challenging Sue on the state of the cottage we simply decided to leave one day earlier.
Sue did kindly offer for us to come back again and use the night we didn’t stay but we won’t be doing that.
Such a shame because the property details/spec on booking.com sounded idyllic for a lovely relaxing break, but sadly that wasn’t the case.

Good location, comfortable bed but electricity should be included.
There was a jug of milk, orange juice, tea, coffee, sugar but no breakfast as such.
Electricity not included so extra £20 for meter. Electric Aga not suitable for summer stays and standby electricity approx £2.50 per 12 hours.

Lovely stay in Beaumaris
The cottage is beautifully rustic and higgledy-piggledy. It is in an amazing location and felt like a proper getaway. There were a lot of thoughtful touches like the electric blanket, wine, homemade cake and the already lit fire. There was lots of coal and wood available. The aga was warming and it felt very homely with a great TV setup with everything you need.
It was December and very cold. With a key meter, you really notice how much electricity you use and with not much effort we spent £60 in 5 days and 4 nights.
A shaver/toothbrush charger would be welcome, so we bought one.

It was a cosy and friendly stay close to everything yet quiet.
We loved the quirkiness/character of the property. The living room was lovely with wood and coal provided so we could have lovey cosy evenings in. The bedroom was large and airy. The property is also dog friendly so didn't feel on edge having the dog there. Sue is on hand for any questions and gave us a great tip for Sunday lunch with the dog!
The sofa needs replacing and the aga probably not that convenient to cook on.

cost but steep stairs, poor internet and no light bulbs in bathroom
very quaint and cosy
Advertised as Church Street but was at back entry of Church Street . Difficult to find even with directions

Would definitely return. Lovely
Fantastic location with our own parking space. Charming historic 3-storey cottage with-in walking distance of everything.
Some confusion about the amount required to feed the key meter for the electric and needed clearer instructions on how to operate the TV. However, promptly rectified by very approachable host Sue.

very quaint cottage very difficult to find when first arrived
bedroom was lovely
but only 2 coat hangers
not being able to cook as only microwave toaster or aga

OK - wouldn’t stay again.
The location was excellent. loved how dog friendly it was.
very old cottage, very dark and it felt very tired and needs a lot of TLC. I like being in clean, tidy environments and it wasn’t somewhere where I would like to ‘relax’. It’s three storey and very narrow which I didn’t like. It has a garden but it is tiny and open to the road which I thought was enclosed. The building is right nextdoor to the owner and so it didn’t feel very private. It was an odd set up. Also we didn’t receive any information or key before getting to the property. I had to call the mobile number on the booking site and the property owner seemed confused why I was calling. The ‘parking space’ FYI is a carved out area with overgrown weeds in it - it’s very narrow. I felt the pictures on this site were misleading. When we first came I wanted to leave - we didn’t stay for our entire trip because I couldn’t relax in this environment.

The accommodation is far more spacious than I expected - full of character, light, airy and homely.

We had a lovely stay and would recommend.
The cottage is very homely with so many historical and quirky features. Our 6 year old granddaughter fell in love with it immediately. The kitchen and sitting room are both cosy. The bed is extremely comfortable. Thank you Sue.
Nothing we can think of.

would not stay here again
it was close to the beach
It was tired & in need of updating, very cold throughout.
expensive for standard of accommodation & time of year
Had to pay extra for pets & electricity on a pay as you go even though the owner was using the machine machine & dryer for personal use

Nice weekend break in a quirky cottage
Small cottage dating back hundreds of years so full of character. Was great for our weekend break to get away from everything. With the super thick stone walls don’t expect phone reception or Wi-fi. We were looking to escape so suited us. You can get 4g in the bedroom though if you really wanted it. There is however Sky & Netflix & we enjoyed watching a film in front of the fire after a busy day out. Located in the middle of the town 2 minutes from the seafront. Access from Ratings Row. Owner lovely & made us very welcome. As it was a very short break we didn’t do any cooking so can’t comment on the Aga
It didn’t bother us but the electric is on a meter so if you go in winter you’ll probably have to top it up. Summer would probably be fine though
