I couldn't figure out how to turn on the hot water in the shower. This may have been my fault, but I tried may different combinations and it was still cold. As I had a very early departure I couldn't ask the front desk for help, so it was unfortunate

Best place to stay outside of the old town

The rooms had fabulous views of the water. Very comfortable beds and a much larger bathroom than I anticipated. Very close to the old town. Nice little bar attached for a late night drink and/or early morning coffee. Front desk people were very nice and helpful!

Great location - decent and clean hotel

Location was great and the hotel was easy to find.

The room was like an attic room and had a sloping ceiling. This was a bit awkward and we were worried about banging our heads. It also made some of the room space awkward to use.

Good location for airport and historic town of Trogir

stayed here (family of 4) for last 2 nights of holiday to be near airport. Good location across bridge from old town - taxis can park outside hotel. Downside is some traffic noise at all times although double glazed windows made it unobtrusive. Effective air con (outside temps high 20s). We had rooms 15 and 16 which were opposite each other and at the end of corridor (2nd floor - no lift) - we could shut a corridor door and have our doors slightly ajar, when not asleep, and be separated from rest of corridor so good for a group or family. Rooms spacious and clean (furnishings old fashioned but all in good order). Lots of restaurants in old town. Utilised hotel transfer - 70E from split ferry and 40E to airport. used Uber to get to beach at 6E one way (or water taxi 5E each one way or 30 minute walk). Beach beds 10E, touristy area at beach but clean water for swimming.

check in time strictly observed (3pm) as we arrived for 2 rooms at 2.30 and could not do any of the check in procedure until 3pm (luggage left at reception however not secure area). Could do with curtains in room 16 as shutters and net curtains did not block light enough for us. Also although had air con off was a little cold at night but no blanket/duvet in room. Basic breakfast- yoghurts were v runny and not on ice. Hot chocolate tasted slightly of coffee.

The location was excellent and the breakfast was nice.

When we booked through Booking, the price included tourist tax, and yet they wanted to charge us again. Only when I insisted did they refund the difference and were very angry and unpleasant.

A nice place to stay with the famliy

Perfect location in a wonderful place in the city. A short walk to historical sites. Wonderful old building with a great history. Good air conditioning and clean rooms.

No elevator. We had have luggage and had to carry it up two flights of stairs. Not good parking but it is so close to the airport that getting to the hotel is cheap.

Lovely historic hotel with wonderful staff

All the staff that we met in the hotel were absolutely delightful. Of special mention was the young man who worked behind the bar and also helped us with our luggage to the room.

Unfortunately there was a very strong 'drain smell' that was in the bathroom and travelled into the bedroom if we left the bathroom door open. We were only staying one night so did not mention it to the staff - apart from anything else we could not see that much could be done about it, and the hotel seemed very full.

The location, friendly staff most of whom spoke good English and the freshly cooked breakfast The offer from staff to carry our bags up to our room on the top floor

The air-conditioning couldn't keep the room cool with outside temperatures over 30C. We were surprised that there wasn't an evening meal available - but it wasn't far to walk to find a restaurant!

Good stay

The location is easy to find, the view to the old town was fantastic. The room was specious and clean, comfortable bed. Value for money.

Breakfast was very basic — there was no buffet as such, and you had to specifically request items like an omelette. Missing elevator was not an issues at all, I was travelling light but travelers should pay attention to that in case of heavy luggage.

Lovely hotel, great staff and good location

The location is very good, easy for a taxi from the airport to drop us off at the front door, very helpful staff, lovely old building, beautiful views and close to everything. The breakfast was very good, we were made to feel very welcome and to ask for help with anything we needed.

Unfortunately, a guest in the building, possibly downstairs in the bar? Or in a room had been smoking heavily and the cigarette smoke filled the entire centre stairwell of the building and up to our room. We visit Croatia yearly for an event on one of the islands, love Trigor and hope to return for a longer stay next year and hope to return to this hotel. But if there are problems with cigarette smoke on our second visit it would be enough to put us off returning.

Location was perfect to access our boat for a cycling tour. The view from the room was spectacular! Just a bit difficult for me to carry my heavy suitcase up the stairs - had help the first stay but left to manage on my own the second stay. Breakfast was lovely and the hostess very nice.

Maybe have a bellhop to carry heavy suitcases.

Bit of a hike to the room but worth it.

Staff was lovely. Building is 400+ years old I don’t recall reading anywhere at time of booking that there was no elevator so carrying heavy luggage was a bit of a shock. (May have been on the description at time of booking but I just didn’t see it). Room was a good size for two adults with large suitcases (3rd floor garden view) bathroom was a bit on the cosy side and had floor heating which was awesome. No tea/coffee making facilities or iron/ironing board in the rooms. TV’s very dated, but didn’t spend enough time in the room to mind that. Very nice stay over all, location was fantastic very easy to navigate. Didn’t have any issues with noise from neighbouring businesses. Beds were comfortable, pillows weren’t that great but not the end of the world.

A hotel to avoid because you'll feel robbed

Miserable breakfast for any hotel, let alone a 4 star hotel - no replenishment, there would only be enough fruit for one person that arrived at 7 am, our family alone were 5 people! The worst hotel I have ever been to and I have visited over 30 countries in about 40 years of traveling! They charged us with an extra bed despite me having made the reservation for 5 people! Mandatory check out until 11.30 and breakfast until 9.30! This hotel is only out to extort money from people - it is not a hotel to serve people well!

The only reasonable thing was the staff who welcomed us on the night of arrival

It was very low cell and getting to the other side of the room was not easy. Also this problem was with bathroom and you can’t stand property. Bathroom old style and you cant hang shower to take a shower. It was bathroom with hydro-massage but I prefer showers; personal choice.

Convenient place for transiting to/from the airport - or longer if you are stayng in the area.

Stayed here arriving after a late flight before heading onwards the next morning. Close enough to the centre of Trogir for a late night walk and somewhere to eat but not affected by the noise of the tourists. Yes it is right under the flight path for Split airport but there are no night flights and the windows are soundproofed so we were NOT disturbed at all and I am quite a light sleeper. Breakfast was a mixture of buffet and items cooked to order. All very tasty.

Fine for one-night before early morning flights.

Location is close to Trogir old city. Parking is close by. Room was fine, but bathroom was very dated. Breakfast good. Staff very friendly and helpful. For one night stay, close to airport at end of our trip, hotel was fine.

Low quality 4*

proximity to the old town of Trogir yet it was possible to order a taxi promptly. The receptionist fixed the Wi-Fi connection when I signalled the problem. Friendliness and effort to provide better service from one of the receptionists. The bed was quite comfortable.

The bathroom jacuzzi option would make the bath dirty, it definitely needs some cleaning and maybe maintenance. You cannot switch off or control the AC. Some staff at the reception were not welcoming or didn’t try to make an effort in making the guest (me) feel welcome.
