Marbella Beach Resort at Club Playa Real

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean, spacious, comfortable, and exactly as described and shown in the pictures on the website. It had everything we needed, including two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two TVs, a well-equipped kitchen, and a large living room. The location was excellent, with the beach and a supermarket both around 100 metres away. The staff were also courteous and helpful. Since we stayed for over a week, we received one cleaning and towel change during our stay, which was appreciated.

The only thing we wished was different was the basement parking, which costs an additional €10 per day. This was clearly mentioned on the website, so it wasn’t an unexpected charge, but it would have been nice if parking had been included. There is free public parking behind the resort near the beach, although it was usually quite full. Also, the keys need to be collected and returned at a different hotel, although it is within walking distance and this is also clearly stated on the website.

Spacious apartment good location liked the pool felt safe. Great proximity to Marbella and Fuengirola. We enjoyed the papillon restaurant.

Leaking shower kitchen a bit run down fridge door did not close properly kitchen equipment not great.

The view from our room was fantastic and the ground were well maintained.

There is a real issue with not having reception after a certain time. One evening I forgot my key card and there was no-one to contact. My Mother is 82 and has a disability. I also had my daughter with me and we were left stranded with no-one to contact in a situation like this, which can happen easily to anyone. we had to ask a neighbour to allow us to stay in their apartment overnight. 24 hr reception is a MUST as the service at this location are very limited and this has put me off coming back. A Porter should always be available with Master keys to helps in situations like this.
