Horrendous

The view

The smell, the leaking shower, rude staff, uncomfortable beds , electricity tripping , air conditioning not working. The smell was the worst , location it too remote and in a run down area

Generous, beautiful and convenient accommodation

It felt very exclusive, no huge crowds except for the weekend but even then it was local families so the atmosphere was rather chilled. The sea is shallow so ideal for kids although you can get big, strong waves too and in that case it can be hard to get in even for adults (I love this kind of sea, though). The buildings are literally 100m from the sea with no roads to cross etc, which is fantastic. We are not a pool type of family but the pools there looked great, with many sun lounges. There is a restaurant on the beach which offers a great selection of food at a reasonable price, our food was delicious, the staff super accommodating and the ambience superb, with the beachfront view. The buildings are in top shape, you can tell that maintenance is top priority so although the buildings have the aesthetics of a different decade, everything feels brand new. You can tell that whoever built this complex loved the project and used the best materials out there. We also loved that there's a limited number of units while some of the other hotels/developments in the area had a huge number of rooms and looked crowded and not as well kept. Our unit had two terraces. The one that you access from the dining room has a large outdoor table, sun loungers and a large shade umbrella; this has a beautiful sea view. From this terrace, an external staircase leads to the second terrace, which has multiple Sun loungers for when you need a more private sunbathing session, I believe. This also faces the sea but you will only see it if you stand up and even then I don't think that guests from nearby units would be able to see you. Our unit had 3 large bedrooms and two bathrooms (one ensuite), everything was spotless. There is a free parking lot in front of the complex and you can also request for paid parking inside the premises. We used the former. This place is great for excursions to places like Marbella and Málaga, which are interesting, fun cities to visit.

Lovely peaceful holiday, fabulous pool great location

We having been coming here every year for a while now. Love the location and quiet. Close enough for trips/evenings out to Marbella..

For the first time we had a couple of issues with the Apartment.. if you put the hob on it tripped the electric and turned off the air conditioning! Had to have maintenance round on numerous occasions to sort for us. In addition the lift was out of order for the whole week and only repaired in time to bring our suitcases down for journey home.

I paid a security deposit of EU150 to Booking.com. At reception i was asked to pay another security deposit of EU150 as nothing received from Booking.com. You need to clarify this point with them.

The pool area is fabulous and well maintained. With uber now easily accessible, no need for rental care - a quick 10 minute uber into the old town Marbella is brilliant

The garden maintenance team are brilliant and thorough, but mowing and trimming the pool area and grass every morning at 9:00 is too much. Please have workers who do it faster or only every second/third day!

Disappointed with the poor reception times. Covid cannot keep getting blamed for lack of staff.

The view from our room was fantastic and the ground were well maintained.

There is a real issue with not having reception after a certain time. One evening I forgot my key card and there was no-one to contact. My Mother is 82 and has a disability. I also had my daughter with me and we were left stranded with no-one to contact in a situation like this, which can happen easily to anyone. we had to ask a neighbour to allow us to stay in their apartment overnight. 24 hr reception is a MUST as the service at this location are very limited and this has put me off coming back. A Porter should always be available with Master keys to helps in situations like this.

Ok, but could do a lot better.

Proximity to the beach and a big pool. Spacious balcony and well equipped kitchen.

Aircon not working, couldn't fix it, so very hot and couldn't sleep. Supplied only 1 portable aircon eventually. No concern at all from reception/management. Should have moved us. Incredibly noisy neighbours until 3.am, reception closed at 6pm so no-one to call to help us. It's a bit off the "beaten track" with few facilities nearby, but that might be a choice for some. But general service/care was poor.

We have stayed here several times and have never had to pay £150 deposit for breakages before!!!!Cold at night and not enough blankets for the bed! And why only a double bed in such a large bedroom? Also frying pans very worn so everything sticks!

Freeze in a mostly closed resort

The resort is closed yet they will still rent you a room. Good luck figuring out how to check in. The property is locked up and there is no note telling you to go to a nearby property that is also mostly closed. We drove around for hours and finally talked to a woman walking her dog who told us where to go. We explored all around the dark building and finally found an envelope with our name on it. If you think you will be able to park in the underground parking, forget it. It will be a long hike to your unit. Also, of course there are no bars or restaurants open but it did not say so in the listing. We starved. There is nobody who works there on site. Worst though, the unit was freezing. We had to leave after one night. So did the mother and daughter who were at the other property when we went to complain and check out. Because we were unable to register the night before, the receptionist agreed to check us in and out at one time. The property is refusing to refund our money for the second night. This is a clear example of "bad profits." Businesses that go for bad profits never succeed. Don't stay here.

we have stayed before and had a great time! it’s in a fabulous position, right on the beach, restaurants nearby!

The flat was at the back of the complex, so had hardly any sunlight. it was very damp and smelled of damp, the bed smelled of body odour and being unwashed. it was not pleasant. Hairdryer didn’t work. Shower head, you had to move around to get wet. Very officious receptionist immediately telling us to leave property exactly as we found it, nothing left in fridge, all washed up etc! very welcoming.Not.

Super apartment in beautiful location

The sea view is a real added bonus to a beautiful apartment. Superbly clean rooms, very well equipped kitchen, spacious balcony and roof top terrace. Wi-Fi was good to have. Staff at main hotel were very helpful. Small supermarket nearby. Good restaurants within walking distance. 15 minute walk to Elvira for shops, coffee shops, bars and restaurants. overall a smashing location. 20 minutes (€20) taxi ride to Marbella.

There is nothing really to complain about but a welcome pack would have been useful for information about how to manage the air conditioning and safe, but the staff at the main hotel helped us with all queries.

The location with the Garden, the Sea and the swimming pool. The weather was nice but the Sea water was cold middle of September, we did swimm nevertheless. Kitchen was well equipt.

The beds with the sheets had a smell, i think from the humidity, the furniture is very old.
