super Clean & remote hideaway up the hills of lovely moneglia.

Our overall experience was wonderful. The home was immaculate and had everything we needed. The outside space had a lovely view and was a peaceful space to relax and unwind with beautiful landscaping. Moneglia is a quiet coastal community and a great spot to explore from by car bus or train.Access to the home was impacted by the costal road being shut so we had to enter from the hills road which was a little confusing at first. The roads are very narrow so you need to be a confident driver who is good at reversing as needed. You definitely get used to it but just to be aware. The house is on the hillside a good 30min walk from Moneglia and the return is uphill so a car is helpful. Nice local restaurant within a 10min walk. Perfect getaway but the location is outside of the town.

The apartment is very clean and appears to have been very recently updated as everything appears new. The check in process could not be easier. Parking and driving take some getting used to for Americans, but you do and it is well worth it. The views from the rooms and the patio are spectacular. We found it extraordinarily quiet at night. Moneglia is a gem.

My hubby and I stayed at this property for four nights, and what a lovely location and property it was. The place was immaculately clean and has everything you will need. We just used the main bedroom you can see off the living area in the photo's and the main bathroom. It's worth noting that the main bedroom does have large sliding doors, so you can shut it off from the living area and so it is very private. It's also worth saying that if you like watching a bit of TV from the bed, you can actually do that too. The TV in the living area is positioned such that this is possible. There is also a TV in the kitchen area. The bathroom was more akin to what you find in a luxury hotel and the attention to detail is apparent thought out this apartment. The views are lovely and you seriously would not find this place if the owner (Michele) did not meet you to take you there. The address given for the white house with the blue shutters is very accurate and as long as you can find yourself there, once shown where the property is, you won't have any difficulty finding it a second time. The views are fabulous and the garden area a perfect size, although unfortunately for us it rained for a couple of the days we were there, so we never got to enjoy the garden, but it had everything you would need and a great view down to Moneglia and the sea. The property although in a rural location, is in a small collection of houses/apartments, so you are not totally alone, although once inside or in the garden you might think you are. The other residents are very lovely though and will say hello when you see them. The parking is about 200 yards away, but is on the flat, so very easy to pull your suitcase alone, although you can pull up nearer the door to load and unload if you want. There are then just a few steps up to the front door of the property. Michele is a very good host and was very welcoming and talked us through what we needed to know. We never had cause to contact Michele during our stay, but when we made contact when we were leaving, he came back to us very quickly, and of course he lives very close by too.
