On foot you can reach the bathing establishments, the typical restaurants, the bars, the seafront and the excellent hiking trails. The concert season runs from Easter to October with concerts in the old chapel and the outdoor monastery of San Giorgio. Every week, typical markets wind through the ancient streets of the town. Near the train station, it is an ideal starting point to visit the main tourist destinations of Liguria: the Cinque Terre, Portofino, Rapallo, Santa Margherita Ligure. Moneglia is connected to Sestri Levante by spectacular tunnels directly along the sea, the old railroad is a truly impressive and characterful sight not to be missed.
