Location and easy to use and garden

I think the small garden needs attention and would make a much better experience if someone spent a just couple of hours making it presentable to sit in

The apartment is smart, newly decorated ( since advertising on booking.com...look on air b and b and you can see). Nice kitchen with everything you need, living area and bathroom/bedroom areas all good too. It was comfy and felt like home! The little garden would be nice if it was cleared up and given a little TLC. Overall, despite the comments below we enjoyed the location close to the station and the city amenities and think it was value for money for a Brighton stay.

The owner drew our attention to the need to keep noise down to keep neighbours happy but we were woken every day by drilling, scraping and other DIY noise from the flat/building next door and huge amounts of building noise from the end of the street which we know are things out of control of the landlord and probably just bad timing but affected the stay every day. Generally as its a conversion noise from other flats is probably inevitable. The only other suggestion we would make is a non slip mat or bar on the wall in the shower and a blind on the rear door in the bathroom.

The space

Lots of holes in the floor. Smelt of damp, but soon diasppeared with windows open. Stains on sofas, which has been commented on several times on the booking.com reviews- thought this would have been rectified. Carpet cleaner (Dr Beckmann carpet cleaner) excellent for this sort of stain removal. Had to put bed sheet on sofa as didnt know what we were potentially siting in. If these things are rectified, it would make this accommodation alot nicer. Everything else was to our liking. Thank you for your prompt replies with our queries.
