Clean and cosy house with modern tasteful furnishing. Reserved covered basement carpark lot. Excellent location that is within walkable distance to the town centre and all the key attractions. Clear instructions given for arrival and departure. Host is responsive to queries.

We liked the property a lot. Just note that there is no separate dryer for washed clothes, this is compensated by a heated drying rack instead. The kitchen is well-equipped with a full-sized oven, full-sized refrigerator, electric kettle, but no microwave oven.

The perfect place to stay in Bath

Easy to find, excellent location, well equipped, an easy checkin, and a most friendly and welcoming hostess.

There was a pile of dirt/dog hair on the living area rug. Obviously an oversight on the part of the cleaner, and by no means a reflection of the general cleanliness and condition of the apartment.

The house was in a great location, within easy walking distance to the city, and great parking for the car. The property was very clean and had everything needed for a comfortable, restful stay in Bath. It was very quiet, with no noticeable outside noise.We loved it.

Very comfortable and really well located

Very lovely furniture and a really neat and well appointed apartment with loads of space.

It’s not really a negative, but because we had a large people mover van I found it really difficult to get into where the park was. One day there was a car parked in our unit number and I could not park my car. Then I wondered where else to park it and the establishment said to park on the street or down in the town.

Cleanliness. Really could do with a deep clean. Floor in main room, dropped my phone and when I moved the table it obviously hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Bedrooms, under bed, dust, sock, other bedding, hair clips, picture frames, headboards, just had not been cleaned/hoovered. The property just needed a deep clean. Also water damaged stain on the kitchen ceiling needs to be re painted

A great house in a brilliant location, will not disappoint

This property was perfect for our stay, the location is great and having a parking space is a bonus. Communication with our host was exceptional. We would definitely book again.

Everything was great, maybe some extra kitchen utensils and a shelf on the ensuite shower so products are not on the floor but these things did not negatively impact.

Very disappointed for what should have been a luxurious birthday treat.

Overlooking a skip in the car park. Multiple scuffs gouge marks and dirty marks on lots of the walls. Filthy watermarked chairs and stains on ceiling in kitchen. No fresh milk! Cleaners arrived early. £45 for late checkout! Not a luxurious stay as we would expect for the money charged.

A cosy and great place to stay in Bath!

The information on the entry to the unit was communicated well via email and whatsapp (as I request). Getting into the unit was a breeze! I had to call the host on the locking of the main door as it was the European kind, and we were not familiar with it. The parking lot was very small, but it was good that the covered car park was not full, so we had some space to manoeuvre. The apartment was wonderful. It's really nice and clean. There was a bottle of sparkling wine and milk in the fridge, such a nice touch by the host! The bedroom on level 1 is very spacious and ensuite. Level 2 has a living room and kitchen with a small balcony. TV has Netflix, so lot of choices to watch. Two bedrooms are on level 3, and both have bathrooms. All the beds are comfortable. The kitchen has everything, including a dishwasher. The location was excellent as it's just a walk to anywhere. We literally walked everywhere while we were at Bath. Everything was very clean and we enjoyed the stay very much.

The level 1 bed room opened directly to the courtyard, and there is no window. The temperature was controlled by the host, so I need to contact her to make it cooler. It's a little stuff and warm as there isn't much ventilation after you close the door. 1 bedroom on level 3 was very small, can only have an open suitcase in the room. The bedroom door is sometimes blocked by one of the legs of the bed; I had to push the bed in to close the door. There is also no ventilation switch in the ensuite bathroom, which makes it very steamy and wet after a shower.

Noisy building work.

The location was good

Building work and being woken up at 6.30am by what sounded like bins being emptied, then banging and drilling. The complex is still being built with other accommodation around the courtyard.

A beautiful and luxurious property, close to everything and extremely well appointed.

What an absolutely brilliant property - absoutely exceeding our expectations. Everything felt brand new and clean, the beds were super comfy and the kitchen well equipped. The location was fantastic - travelling with two children under 6 and an OAP we were easily able to walk everywhere. The development felt secure, the water pressure was great and the property overall felt very luxurious. We also all loved the welcome gift!

My only criticism is that the house was very warm - I think due to it being so well built and modern. We found the thermostats but despite turning them down the house retained the heat! However this wasn't too much of an issue for us and we had windows open instead and made use of the lovely balcony.

Our stay at Walcot Yard exceeded any expectations, it was perfect in every way.

We loved the location, the layout and decor of the property, simplistic with a very comfortable feel. Loved the open plan design which was perfect for a family meal. The master bedroom was stunning with an excellent ensuite. I loved how easy it was to adjust to a new cooker, lights, security etc. We loved the personal touches upon arrival, bubbly and nibbles were a wonderful surprise. It was very hard to say goodbye, we just didn't want to leave!

Great location within easy walking distance. Wonderful we could take the dog. Well equipped and very comfortable.

We were a group with two cars and needed to find parking elsewhere for the second car. We were aware before we booked - just a comment. And as mentioned there is building work on going across the courtyard but we were aware before we booked. The builders were v accommodating allowing us to drive out of things were in the way etc

A little disappointed for the money charged

The water in shower didn’t drain quick enough, towels are a bit small for larger people, found two black hairs on en suite bed(we are blond!) building site opposite (I know nothing can be done about it but should have been told), could do with cling film/silver foil as made sandwiches to travel and nothing to wrap with, no draining board

We enjoyed our stay. It was a great spot to put up our feet and rest after a day of touring Bath.

We loved the lemon cake and madeleines that were waiting for us when we arrived. The nespresso coffee maker was a plus as well. The property is quite new and is very nice. It provided a great home away from home while we were in Bath.

All in all the property is great. However, there are little details here and there reveal the property isn't used as a home. The en suite shower door tends to let water out onto the floor. One of the bedroom doors is unable to close because the bed extends into the path of the door. At first arrival, the location is a little hard to find. All of these things are relatively minor with the exception of the bedroom door being unable to close. It was an inconvenience for the privacy of one of our adult children. My comment is that the price may have been a little high, but considering that the property is in a major tourist town and is relatively new, I understand. Tourists always complain about price, eh? :-)
