The location was brilliant, very central and only a few minutes walk to everything.

The pool area was fairly small with only 6 sunbeds and when relaxing by the pool, the road was just the other side of the hedge. This meant it was quite loud, but we got used to it as the days past. At times we did feel overlooked while around the pool as the balconies from the apartments directly faced this area. However, this was just a little thing as overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

Sent an email before arrival advising that we would try to reach the Burgau property before 21.00 14/05/23, but no response received from Rental Valley.. So racing by taxi from Faro to the property, 30 mins before arrival we receive a note advising the keys are now to be collected from Lagos... A reluctant taxi driver takes us to Rental Valley Offices, not easily found in the darkness, to a securing box, which wasn't easily opened, so called the contact Sarah, and managed to get the keys out. Frustrated, annoyed, tired and Euros 30 later we arrive at what we believed to be our apartment. Thankfully it was.. Nobody called after all the nights issues to check that we'd actually arrived ok.. Marvellous customer service ! Other problems highlighted with the properties fell on deaf ears(keys jamming/swimming pool/tv), so we gave up in the end. The fridge does not close properly and is defrosting, but this looks like it has been badly installed, and always has been this way... Refusing to reimburse our Euro 30, and not being interest in resolving issues raised, Rental Valley badly lacks in the customer service and support departments, and will advise our friends to beware or avoid.. Thanks to them, the edge was taken off what was a lovely break.. Dan & Paula Thomas
