Being directly on the beach made for beautiful sunsets. That is a mixed blessing. More about that in the next section. The parking was right outside our door. It was roomy, clean, full kitchen. I nice surprise was a decent assortment of spices and salt and pepper, and several Kleenex boxes scattered around.
In the summer the sun sets very late and rises very early so sleep tends to extend into daylight. All the curtains are white so they do not block the brightness much. The unit is not air conditioned (like most units in the area) so that great sunset is also a great heater. The air coming in off the beach was preheated so it did not help much to open windows until after the sun was down. On rainy days this was less of a problem but only the patio door was blocked from rain making it difficult to cross ventilate. All in all it was a fun stay and we had a great time.
