The location is excellent, with a nice shady patio overlooking the river, a short walk to Lake Michigan beach, and a quick ride into Glen Arbor. It’s a great spot to use as home base when exploring Leelanau peninsula. The appliances and some of the amenities are older, but look and work as if they are new. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. The furnishings are comfortable. Overall, it was very clean and plenty of room for the two of us. Plus the location is very quiet and pretty private even with units on both sides. We would definitely stay here again.

There are no curtains or shades on the loft bedroom windows or skylight, so it did get very bright early in the morning. Also we happened to be there during a hot week, and with no AC the loft was a bit warm. But there were plenty of fans and it was not that bad thanks to the trees that surround the building.
