Clean and warm, but difficulty sleeping due to nightclub noise

The room itself was very clean and well-maintained. The Wi-Fi connection was excellent, and the coffee machine was a nice touch. The location is very convenient for public transport as it is right by the train station, the supermarkets, the restaurants.

The main issue was the noise, the property is located directly above a nightclub/bar (not mentioned in the description), and the music/bass vibrations lasted until 3/4AM. They didn't even provide earplugs to help with the noise. Sometimes the room smelled of cigarettes. There is no elevator, which is a major issue if you have heavy luggage, and the bed was a bit small for two people. The surrounding area is not the best. Most importantly, the host was completely unreachable, never responded to Booking attempts to contact them.

Ideally located but you won’t get any sleep

Very close to train station

It felt like we were sleeping in the street as you can hear everything from the room. Zero sound proofing at all, there was also a night club/late bar under the room and you could hear music at all times from out room making sleep difficult.

The location is good and close to the station.

The owner was not flexible at all, the check in time 4 PM and check out 10 AM while in all hotels check in 12 PM and check out 10 AM. That’s mean 6 hours of your booking not counted. I arrived 12 PM from Belgium and the owner refused to allow me to check in before 4 PM and told me to put my luggage in train station locker that’s cost me 15 Euros. I was not satisfied from this experience.

Great location and clean room!

Nice place to stay close to train and bus station. -I did not meet the owners the whole time, it was all communicated in advance with booking messaging. I didnt need to contact for anything, but i think the owners were sitting outside sometimes, i think they own the bar too. -Entrance is with a code, they send you in advance and its a code you easily remember. You enter first through a main outer door that leads to either the inner rooms door, or the bar. When the bar is open this door is open. you use the code on a wall keypad near the door. The inner door leads to a stair case, and the first floor has rooms # 1 and 2. -I was in room #2, the room was clean and new/modern looking. Wifi info on the back of the door. It had a small balcony, not big enough for seats but its a nice touch to be able to look out to the street. I stayed for 4 nights, from monday to thrusday. -Location is great, there is food all around, its very close to the train and bus station, and they have free bus and train service in Luxemburg so useing that is great for you budget, and this location makes it easy. and there is Vel-oh bike rental spots near by, with in 5 min walk. -For the price, it was a great place to stay in Luxemburg

The few negatives (im very picky, but honest): -The door pad, the second one for the inner door sometimes i had issues with it, where it clicked extra numbers and i had to start again, but only minor issue, at most 1 or 2 extra tries to enter. -As others have noted there was some noise comeing from the night club that is next door. I was only here from a monday night to a thursday night, so i missed the prime night club nights of friday and saterday, so maybe i missed it. The first night i arrived at 8pm and could defiantly feel the bass of it in the room, but by 11pm it had stopped. and i didnt hear it any other day. the bar downstairs was not loud but was not open everyday. If that bass vibration noise went on longer or every day then it might have affected me more. -My biggest issue was with the little shelf below the mirror in the bathroom, right above the small sink. This shelf is in the way if you want to wash your face. you have to make a choice to get water all over the floor or hit your head or hands on the shelf. The shelf is already bent on a angle from other people hitting it. It should be replaced with 1 or 2 shelves beside the mirror, between mirror and towel . Overall i didnt have the sound issue everyday as others have mentioned, so i had a great time

Give it a miss!!

The room was clean and comfortable but very small. The bathroom was clean, and there were nice fluffy bath sheets. Storage space was ok.

The hotel was very difficult to locate no sign post . Through pure luck and guesswork, we located it. We had difficulty with the key pad, and it was not working properly because when we pressed the pad, there was no response. The location was in a red light district with sex shops. There are lots of rough sleeping on the street and men fighting each other over drinks/ drugs, and definitely not a place for single female travellers. They supplied ear plugs, and we found out why!! There's a load disco in the bar below and also nightclubs nearby. Also, on the flight path, low flying planes. The toilet door did not close, and there was an Ibis hotel directly across looking straight into the room .

Awful.

It was clean and near the train station.

We were locked out and could not even spend the night here. The keypad to enter was not working. It is not a nice area and did not feel safe. We were locked out at 10:30pm and immediately contacted the property owner. They did not answer their phone until the next morning, but by then we had already booked a nearby hotel.

Great for a short stay, especially if you're attending a football match here.

Brilliant location for any fans travelling to the Stade de Luxembourg, the room is right by Gare tram station which takes you right to the stadium. Didn't find the area to be particularly 'rough' as some reviews suggest, there's a strip of well-priced bars (4 euro pints) that are open late on the road of the apartment which was perfect for me as a load fans were there after the game.

The room itself was a bit pricey for 1 night and the 10am checkout was too early in my opinion. Besides that, the bed was super comfy and the bathroom was spacious and clean. No real complaints.

Central location, well connected to City Tram to get around, but...

Location is apaling, rooms above night club with hammering music until 3am, table dance bar next door, hourly rooms upstairs, drug dealers and prostitution all around, none of this mentioned in the description

the code for the doors to enter the property was useful and easy to remember, the room was clean and spacious. coffee machine was an added bonus.

the location was close to the train station but that’s about it. homeless people going through the skips opposite the road and felt very uneasy coming outside of the room.

Nice hotel, awful, loud location

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The rooms were modern and good quality.

The room is above a bar and next door to a strip club. The bar/strip club has extremely loud music, to the point in which you can feel the bass shaking your bed at times and they do not turn it off until around 04:00am. There is an ongoing construction in front of the property which starts at 06:00am. In the two days I was here, I slept for less than four hours a night.

Great base to explore the city

Easy instructions to follow, place located near station and gave easy access to the city. My 5 year old loved the room decorations and despite being in a busy area the room was quiet. good food choices near by.

Quite cozy room, very close the train station, supermarkets in one step, Nespresso machine in the room with a couple of coffee tabs to be used, great shower and facilities in general.

Neighborhood a bit embarrassing as I was with my mother and there's weird people around (night clubs and strip clubs nextdoor). Loud music throughout the night (i had to sleep with earplugs 3 nights).

Very clean and compact, with easy check in, close to train station

no facility for making a cup of tea only coffee. Plus you can hear other guests arriving/departing. Unfortunately there was a guest (we assume) who decided to play music very loudly till 4.50am, so hardly any sleep.

The room is located beneath a stripclub or bordell. Loud music and moaning until 5 am both nights of our stay. Despite us adressing this issue politely, the second night was also equally loud. We unfortunately did not manage to get any sleep. The hotel even commented under a review claiming that the problem is solved, but it is not. Dont be fooled and book a different place, if you want sleep
